I think they will announce the new PS4, but it's possible they won't show it because final models are not done, they'll just show demos of what to expect from the machine.
Just don't get your hopes up completely.

Sony's timing is bad. Imagine games like this releasing with PS4? Instead we get these when the PS3 is on its way out. I hope Sony doesn't pull a Nintendo and just release the PS4 console in the Fall so they get holiday sales.

Just charge for online already Sony. Sony would make more money, have a more robust, stable service and have more success if they charged for online but offered a cheaper deal than Xbox live. When something is free it comes off as cheap and not a direct competitor to something that costs money, so no one notices you. Then they can market as being cheaper than Xbox live instead of free which is a turn off be ause it says cheap, which is what PSN was.

I'm just a little weary if they go the Killzone and Uncharted route again. Not that it's bad, but it's not new and exciting.
They're looking into it too much. CoD online is just a competitive thing, something guys dig. It's why guys love playing and watching sports and girls don't. Most Girls don't have the competitive nature in them, and if they do play video games, they prefer single player for that reason.

Ps3 is truly a garbage gaming system with a fancy bluray player. The system always freezes and it lags and has horrible framerates.

Let this run it's course people. Don't get upset. People just want answers as to why the killer did this. We all know it's not video games, but they don't. If it makes them feel better so be it. It won't harm the video game industry one bit.
Nintendo needs to ignore negative press and just get to making a true 3D Mario, Zelda, Mariokart etc..in stunning HD and the console will sell itself. No other console has these fantastic games.
