I was so pumped for Mirror's Edge when it came out. Even though I felt it didn't delver on the level I was hoping it would, I still really enjoyed it and consider it one of the most unique gaming experiences I've had this gen. Hopefully only improvements can be made (more enthralling storyline and characters, please!), and DICE can produce a truly excellent sequel.

Looks very Gothic.. what first came to my mind after looking the images over was DMC1 and classic Resident Evil. Seems very different from what we're used to seeing from them. Hopefully this is the break-out-of-the-box RPG that will finally deliver from TriAce. Can't pass judgment until I see some actual footage though..
Because, believe it or not, a lot of people loved the game despite it's flaws. I am one of those people and firmly believe the team at Ubi will listen to all the complaints and improve upon the original.

These guys seem to be cracking down on this stuff.. although it looks like they're stumped on the 4th and 5th symbols.
From the sound of it, if this "inside source" is even slightly reliable, this game would be just another offshoot of the series and not the next true installment, which is fine with me if true. Just as long as I get a KHIII with some powerful hardware behind it, I'm a happy gamer.
Spelling and grammar errors are not your friend! Other than that, I'm glad to have a little knowledge about Amazon's trade-in system now. Might use it eventually.. definitely beats the hell out of going to the ripoff artists over at GameStop/EB.

I still find it highly likely that a co-op mode will be made and it will rock. It was the only thing (besides hellish save points) that was keeping the original from true greatness, IMO.
Ever since a saw Clockwork Orange years ago (still ranking among my favorite films of all-time), I've been a fan of his. I'm sure his presence in the live action cut scenes do the game good..
I want some killer announcements from each end of the tri-gaming-spectrum. Give us some new IP's! Give us some sequels we know will be good! Please don't just announce some "once exclusive, now multi-plat" crap.. we need some fresh games to get excited for; on each end.
Exactly what I was thinking. I can't tell you how fun the game is just by those screenshots, but I CAN tell you the game looks.. pretty bad, even for a "cartoony" game. I probably wouldn't pick this up for more than $15.
...but no amount of gold will keep me in the company of snaggletooth and her horrendous screech for over an hour. No dice.

It's obvious this reviewer got his ass kicked by the difficulty level and felt the only way to win was to grind most of the game.. tsk tsk. A gamer's skill level (or lack there of in this case) shouldn't affect a review score, but unfortunately this is a shining example of when it happens.
Last I heard, Capcom was good and done "considering" an all-multi-platform policy. Capcom going back on their word? Who wudda thunk it..

Though opinions can be conflicting (hence the "IMO"), I grew up on the first movie during that young, naive stage so the cheesy effects and dialogue was overshadowed by the badass hero and gore. I didn't know a sequel even existed until years later, and, naturally, found it much less entertaining and very, very cheesy. Both still hold a special place in my heart, regardless.
