Zombies make everything better..
That's what she said.
The reviews' text are different, so I'm assuming they were reviewed by different people..
S**t.
Going into the demo. Like Kionic said, this game is f**king epic. Plain and simple. It's really hard to believe this is a "movie game" because it really is leagues above any of the mediocre crap we've grown to know. I was with a couple friends when I fired the baby up and we had more than a few "AHHHHHHH-HAHAHAHA!!" ; and "OH MY GOD!!!"(s) going through the beefy demo. If I had $60 to spare, I might even be tempted to spend it on this game.. instead I have to wait...
I wish Rock Band would do something like this.. what's a man gotta do to get some Queen, Harmonix!?
Looks like a whole helluva lot of mindless fun, and sometimes that's the only thing that can hit the spot. I can't wait to get my hands all up in WET's wetness.
But seeing that footage has amped up my hype level from absolutely zero interest to rent ASAP.. the brutality of it is finally what this kind of game needed. Sounds like a whole lot of mindless fun and I can't wait.
..but will at least ONE of these previews ask about a new/improved save system please? The save system was the only thing holding the original back from true greatness, so if that's improved upon at all, DR2 will hands-down be contender for GotY in my book.
EDIT: Lo and behold, IGN has the winning preview: "Capcom told the audience the team recognizes that the save system of the first game was polarizing, oftentimes frustrating players, and is looking to make it better. How...
..there was talk of a trophy patch for AC? I wasn't even aware.
Only one gold (counting out the possibility of one or some golds as hidden trophies of course)? Oh well, trophies are trophies.. can't wait!
FO' FREE!
If only I could understand any of that.. next to MGS, Kingdom Hearts is my favorite series of all-time, so I'll stand by Nomura no matter what project he's working on. Although no gameplay was shown, the in-game cutscene looked absolutely phenomenal. This is hands down my most anticipated game since MGS4, and it's a shame how long we've had to wait (and will have to continue to wait) to see the game in action, let alone play it. It almost pains me to say this, but, I wish FFXIII would just re...
hit that.
The Dude would never say that..
He loves Killzone 2.
Nah, I think it's just lighting playing tricks. They're the same pose, just altered slightly, so the lighting underneath the hood is different, revealing/concealing Ezio's face.
Can't really see anything else fitting the whole "assassin" vibe quite so well.. glad to see they didn't stray away from Desmond's bloodline either.
FINALLY someone mans up to bring the little gems Japan develops to another country.. I can't stress how long I've wished someone would do this. Sure, Atlus and NIS are fantastic, but nobody wants to touch that other vast majority of games that anyone outside of Japan would otherwise have to import and hope they can understand past the language barrier. I'm no fan of those type of shooters either, but I'll probably end up purchasing one or two to support RA in the small way I can.
For some reason, I still can't find myself justifying spending $10 on it. I'm sure it would be worth it, but.. I'll probably just end up waiting for the inevitable "limited time" discount somewhere down the line.
