I have to agree with the man about the overabundance of slutty "bare-it-all" female videogame characters.. taking a more tasteful route is much more sexy. Although, I don't exactly see Bayonetta's main character being very tasteful when it comes to sexuality.
Unless you're a kid who had to beg mommy and daddy to pay a subscription, and now have to explain why you're getting magazines full of half-naked women.
I'm more excited about this game than I am for Rising, and I don't even own a PSP yet. I get a sinking feeling that MGS:R isn't going to feel like the Metal Gear that I know and become obsessed over, but we'll see. Peace Walker looks awesome and true to form.. plus Big Boss is an incredible character who I wished I could play more as after beating Snake Eater. I can't wait to play!
PSP is getting lots of quality new titles on the way.. looks like I'll finally be bucking up and buying one. Hopefully after the GO! launches, some good deals on the 3000 will start to pop up.
But yes, any game designed by Kojima is a game to get giddily excited about.. which is exactly why I'm so disappointed that I'm not excited for Rising. By the name change and Kojima's lack of involvement, I get a bad feeling it won't feel like the MGS I've grown to know and obsess over all...

the greatest game to be released this generation. Easily a masterpiece to go down in the history books as one of the best games of all-time. I'm bummed the next console MGS will most likely not feel like a "real" MGS.. but I guess it's all the more reason to buy a PSP soon for Peace Walker.
All these devs not giving the PS3 support with the excuse "the PS3 is too complicated.. wah wah" are just coming out as foolish and lazy. If it was such a b*tch to develop for, we wouldn't have any of the games from Insomniac, Naughty Dog, Kojima Productions, or any others who have focused on the PS3 in the past. Suck it up! It's your JOB to be good at this stuff..

Now THAT was a true Kojima-style MGS trailer.. end was classic, and Big Boss is the man. Well sh*t, now I finally have to get a PSP for this and KH:BBS.
It wouldn't be all too surprising if it was Konami with the overall decision to take MGS in this new direction.. which is stupid. Kojima has always been so passionate about what he works on.. if he has doubt then it'll show through and we won't get the same outstanding experiences we've grown to know and love from him. Everybody has their price, I guess.

Even as a hardcore MGS fanboy, I can't help but hope Kojima develops a new ZoE game. I rented the first out of the blue when I was young and liked it a lot. It really is.. I've bought quite a few CE's, and most of them only had some documentaries or other DVD bonuses, and me and my friends who all bought them rarely ever actually bothered to look at that stuff. If I could take some back I would, but CE's such as RE5 that have cool swag in them are definitely more worth the cash.
