The truth of the matter is that it is inevitable, but its definitely not because people want it. Consumers are being bullied into this. Digital is convenient at first, but it only seems this way on the surface, companies like Microsoft, Sony, etc invest in the long game.
Things may seem all good at first, but in a few years time practices will begin to take place that you don't agree with.
You can use Gamepass as an example if you want. There was a point and time where t...
If shareholders and publishers want to keep turning profit they need to let people create what they're passionate about instead of using existing properties as bait to dangle in front of the consumer. Most things about modern AAA sucks big time right now, it's why a lot of gamers now are just going back and replaying their old games or getting into that back log.
To be fair I've found it very interesting how the naysayers continued to just regurgitate their illegitimate points even after the beta had become free for most to access, saying things like "No one is playing it" and still commenting about the art direction.
After going out of my way to experience it myself and realizing even when I thought to stop something had me squeeze a few more matches out I came to the conclusion that the game wasn't bad in fact it actual sh...
I fired it up and had a good enough time, it's a beta and a few complaints I had however none of them where directed towards the cast or characters, essentially every character just boils down to a function and while you're playing none of those things people claimed to be such a big issue visually even matters.
Expected it to be a fast pace cluster'uck of a shooter, but it's not. Much more methodical than you would expect. I also liked the beginning cutscen...
This game had two problems, the first being right out the gate it locked the more fun and entertaining pieces towards the end game which given the way the game flow was would come across confusing to new players and secondly to be a live service title it didn't offer much, people talking about it like it was a bad game don't know what they're talking about, but if someone says the content was lackluster they'd be right on the money. They should have focused on more content bei...
The only title that Ubisoft has produced lately that has had any merit to it is unfortunately xDefiant and to be honest if the game wasn't bound to Ubisoft's ip for art direction it would probably be a lot more popular. Fary Cry 6 was ok, but it's just a shell of what the games used to be much like its entire library now.
Ubisoft's games now reek of pretentious agenda driven non sense and the fun factor seems to all but be gone, they need to figure out a way to revita...
Either they're going to patch it out or hackers are going to start opening up the doors to do tons of things for it. Likely why they opted out of having one readily available.
Wow. She looks fine. Some people really need to come off it.
I recently played that Ghosthunter game via the emulator it was my first time using it and I enjoyed it, didn't seem bad at all honestly ... I'm sure it varies with games, but I think it holds up pretty well. Seems a little like he's just being overly critical, but that's just my opinion.
Good for Shift Up that means they've pretty much won, especially if in a year or two they can make a PC Port ... that would be a new player base on top of people who decide to buy it again because its on steam. I know I wouldn't mind picking it up again on Steam.
A new Infamous being produced in this current agenda stricken videogame climate would probably just be a disaster.
That's crazy how the consumer has been fighting Always Online for this long and these companies are about to go ahead and force it anyway through one of the most popular franchises there is.
They know that with Call of Duty people can complain all they want, but the majority will just play it and support it anyways.
All of this falls hand in hand with the consumer not actually owning any products that purchase.
Sad to be honest, the industry needs more innovative titles not teams being task with the objective of chasing after some other dev teams success.
There is room for other Helldivers like titles, but maybe different genres at the very least, Horror or Fantasy, even Hero style?
But I'm hoping this doesn't become the new Dark Souls epidemic, where it's popularity leads to the market being over saturated with crappy carbon copies.
Still can't believe how underappreciated this game has gone. It was so good, one of the first games that I got on PS5 that made me happy I owned one, can't wait to see what they produce next.
Good, they made the decision to not implement Gyro functionality for the PS5 controller to "keep things balanced" so them allowing KBM is a bs move.
That's crazy, I recall so many people speaking negatively about it a few days after it's release. Really puts things into perspective, I recall not liking it too much at the start but as I put in more hours that changed pretty quickly.
Don't really care for photorealism all over every game. It has it's places in some games, but I think it's hurt the actual gameplay aspect of videogames more than it's helped. Nintendo has the right idea, if they where producing games on high end hardware and still put gameplay first before hyper realistic graphics we would see some amazing things from them.
I think this could catch on with the crowd who wanted more from OW2 but where left disappointed, I'm speaking from a personal space here since I consider myself one of those people was really looking forward to returning, but when I saw what they decided to deliver I opted out.
The gameplay trailer of the game isn't really that bad.
Something tells me that everyone responsible for the state and production of this game is going to fail upwards.
There are some good things about the game, but the bad things are just disastrous to the point of it almost seeming like a small part of the team is trying to do something good and then this other side is trying to completely sabotage everything just to prove a point.
