At least whoever wrote the article had the decency to actually update and correct themselves. If you're wrong, you're wrong...pack it up and move on.
Just another sign that no matter what all these "Experts" say, console gaming is still as viable as ever. At least on Sony's side. Don't know what Microsoft's problem is...don't care.
There is no reason to get excited for anything Metal Gear realated anymore for me if Kojima isn't involved.
Metal Gear Rising sequel could peak my interest again, but to be honest that's just because I respect Platinum Games as a Dev Team it's got nothing to do with Metal Gear or with Konami at that point.
I hate how they pretend like the consumer is horribly uninformed about how the processes work when it comes to these stale, cash grabbing overly hyped, cookie cutter, A side B side type releases.
Lack of initial game content while the vast majority of the game still remains under a DLC or a Season Pass, does not equate to lazy developers. You blame EA for that, or Activision or Ubisoft...or whoever is in control of how the game is published.
Now when a game i...
CoD is on a downward spiral, but Blops3 is the most fun I've had playing CoD in 3 maybe 4 years even though I don't play it as heavy as I did the original Blops it is still a good game to me, but I'm not going to just let them make one good game and pretend like it's on a upward trend again, nah...ANOTHER ONE...then we'll talk since they consecutively pumped out garbage for a number of years, just saying.
Being in 2nd place behind CoD is a good thing for S...
What are you talking about? What lesson were they supposed to learn from the failed success that was Street Fighter IV; a game that they pretty much supported for the entirety of the last console generation in order to get it were it is today...
You're acting like Street Fighter VI comes out next year or something with that statement.
You paid 60 bucks for a game that's going to be freely supported for the next 6-8 years and your put off because it do...
Kudos for her saying "Samus" and not "Metroid" or something. Lol it's cool that she knows.
Shes got about as much chance as anyone else, doesn't matter what she looks like Hollywood never cast people based on how closely they resemble said character anyway, especially video game characters.
If a Metroid movie gets picked up by a real studio though, it would be up to them to make her at least look like Samus a little.

People pretend to be happy that he's free now, but still want him to be attached to Metal Gear and do something like P.T. don't make sense.
Personally I'm just happy the man is still interested in crafting games and that he is with people now who won't stifle his creative ideas and trample all over the integrity of his work.
He gave Konami a damn good concept with P.T. and got people talking openly about Silent Hill again. If P.T would've ...
Well that's true about KI now that I think about it, but it doesn't really change my stance on the other things I said.
As for Street Fighter on console always having full game modes in comparison, the difference aren't as dramatic as people make them out to be. Using SFIV Vanilla and Third Strike for example.
Also it's worth noting this is the first time a Street Fighter game has come directly to console without first being introduced as an A...
Well it took about 8 years for SFIV to turn into what it is today. SFV is still a Vanilla game. To be honest I don't see why the complaints are so heavy.
The DLC, new game modes and Updated versions of the game (except for maybe the new cosmetics) are going to be free.
So even if it is an early access version...what difference does it make if it's fully functional and being supported in months to come? It's really not so different than Vanilla SFI...
I don't see why anyone would expect for XB1 to win in the console exclusivity department. They've never won in that department, and it's worse this time around with Microsoft sales numbers being so low in Japan Developers and Publishers in the Eastern Market could overall see producing games on the XB1; especially exclusive titles, as a none viable option.
People who think XB1 will have more exclusives than the PS4 don't play enough video games and by that I m...
To be honest that's normal for Nintendo. In my opinion Nintendo is the only company whose first party titles are really system sellers. Of course people will disagree and say Halo, Uncharted (etc) are, and that may have been the truth at one time in those franchises early conception (like many others), but I don't think they are anymore, the experience over time has diminished because they really don't do much to differentiate from the others, because they are too afraid to switch...
Sucks I won't be able to play this until the 24th even though I preordered, but it's all good. Give's people plenty of time to learn how to kick my ass so in turn I can learn how to kick theirs.
Really happy Alex is coming first in March I thought it was going to be Guile though to be honestly, but that's cool I prefer Alex first. I mean can I get Juri on April lol just saying Capcom.
(sigh) Oh, great. It's these guys again. With a new game and a new type of people to set out to offend. How annoying.
"Let's not actually make a good game. Let's make something mediocre and sub-par! Make it controversial just like Hatred, this way maybe this game will sell as much as the other one did Day One!"
There next game after this will likely have some kind of racist undertone or something and the response they give in regards to ...
It's probably not going to and if it does it will likely be within a 5-10 year period after release.
Reason I say this is because Final Fantasy XV; just like XIII, is planned to be a reoccurring title. They want to use the foundation they've built from this game to continue making other games to expand on the story and lore of XV.
They wouldn't waste manpower and resources on trying to port the games to PC one by one while beginning work on a fres...
No. I think Japan still matters to Sony...what kind of nonsense is it to try and state otherwise. Most of the people who are loyal to the Playstation brand find value in the console solely because of their relationship with publishers in the East, localized games from Japan is what makes the library so diverse and it always has.
The increase in sales for the PS4 in Japan has been evident for awhile now and despite portable and mobile gaming being much more widely accepted in ...
I do wish that for once people who've actually played or invested time into being a gamer or generally enjoying videogames would speak out in these kind of situations.
Politicians; just like most gaming media outlet journalist, don't have a clue what they're talking about. When you are speaking in representation of a certain collective I thought it was necessary to know the material you are referring to.
Sexism in video games is such a bs dynamic ...
Man it gets annoying trying to follow Yakuza or even having a love for the game. They just pick and choose which ones to localize and which ones not to, what a drag.
Square has been on a roll lately and that's good to see.
I'm impressed with how they are really embracing the things that made them a great well known publisher and not trying to cater to an audience who just aren't interested anymore.
