Please tell me MS and AMD didn't partner for the native API. You know your wrong if you say they didn't. I watched the AMD financial webcast did you?
Let's be clear here no it's not the same as MS and AMD's Co-developed RT API. Sony had to go buy an API that isn't native to the hardware but, they probably have RDNA 2. Will thhis make a difference in coding well, I guess we'll find out!
LOL a year or two is not now and why do you think MS calls the system Series X? MS already has an answer for that plan!

I get the feeling Sony's not ready. I think the Virus has hurt Sony to the point the reveal has been delayed. Think about it, Apple have been to some degree shut down. Now why wouldn't this affect MS? Well it probably has but, MS outsources manufacturing to Mexico so, things might not be as bad for them.
It's Sony's policy to discontinue games after a period of time especially if there online games. MS doesn't do this and I don't think Nintendo has tried to do it. You pay for PSN but, Sony never changed this policy!
Correction MS added IOS phones (beta test) to Xcloud today so, now you can say they have access to that hardware too now!
The thoughts on here amuse me. Here's a few things you should chew on:
1. MS has azure cloud services Sony is renting from MS. (To make all things Playstation work!)
2. MS has access to Xbox, Nintendo, PC and yes even Playstation devices that use Cross-play. Sony doesn't even come close to this much access!
3. MS is working on technologies outside of Xbox! Xbox (series devices), Samsung phones, (Iphone (will be soon), PC, tablets Nintendo Swi...
Already pre-installed the game. Just waiting now!

MS has exclusive rights to market Halo and CyberPunk 2077. I'd bet they have the bigger chance at securing 4th Quarter right now. However, everyone will sell out this year. MS and Sony! Nintendo's looking pretty good getting those extra releases from MS right now.
