No what's "seriously deluded" as you put it, is you expect to have all the exclusives next gen like you did this gen. This simply isn't going to happen ever again! Ori, CrossfireX are just the beginning. Either have two consoles or (three) next gen consoles next gen or prepare to start losing exclusives. Game Pass is a world class service now while PS Now continues to limp along. Red Dead Redemption 2 is a big game changer and speaks volumes for the service and the qual...

No the real story is will 3rd Party developers capitalize on the SSD abilities or will they stick with the traditional way of coding? Indies aren't going to take the time to code the way Sony wants them too so you can count them out. This will be a battle of key 3rd party developers and 1st Party developments. Then will first party share their knowledge with 3rd parties? MS will outshine with 3rd parties in the beginning, the question is will they continue to out shine PS5 after Gen 3...

Reminds me of Sega's Saturn's power house 2D Sprite engine Vs Sony's 3D polygon engine battle. This could get real good real fast!

Between running a max performance and trying to dissipate heat, Sony sure have set themselves up for a RROD scenario.

I think this developer article is quite revealing from a former Playstation developer. Interesting how Chris Grannell from Sony Liverpool puts things into perspective...

Blast Processing for real???

Crytek statements were retracted because he pulled the statements out of the air. The guy hasn't done any work on PS5 or XSX. He was going by the theoretical statements made during the PS5 reveal! Another words it was unproven hogwash!

That's because this controller is made from the Xbox's image. All you have to do is map one controller on-top of the other and you can clearly see the Xbox's design.

UltimateRace I suggest you go look at some of the pre and post reveal comments made about Xbox back in 2013. Nothing has changed just a different system...

To this article I say this, you know how to stop FUD. Prove the FUD wrong, another words you Sony need to do a proper reveal (not the half baked reveal at GDC). You state your more powerful prove it. Theories this theories that it's still Blast Processing until proven with solid works. Sony you could have at least given you fans a box and you couldn't even do that. Yea, you have alot to fix before this system comes out!

This is stupid guys, to claim the reveal wasn't a reveal is quite shocking. Sony knew they had to show something so, guess what it was a reveal. MS just showed most (not ALL) of their cards Now, if I was you I would wonder the following:

A.) Why did Sony choose to reveal in a weak fashion?
B.) Where's the PS5's shell (Are they having cooling problems?)
C.) Why is Sony trying to resurrect Blast processing? This term was used by Sega to hide...

Not sure I agree with you on that guaranteed sells. This was MS plan starting back in 2016. Here's what Phil had to say Nov. 2019 last year:

"I would say a learning from the Xbox One generation is we will not be out of position on power or price. If you remember the beginning of this generation we were a hundred dollars more expensive and, yes, we were less powerful. And we started Project Scarlett with this leadership team in place with a goal of having market s...

He's also, excited about his pricing options and he said he had the full backing of MS's CEO to execute the plan. This should actually scare you more! He said they've been planning this system since 2016... MS is ready for whatever Sony decides to do. However, Sony's been so, quiet I think a delay is coming. Phil said in the interview the hardware is ready he sounded more concerned about next-gen games. I can't wait to see if Sony has created something special or if ...

Rainslacker let me destroy your entire argument. I'm a fan of old school games! Just for example I fired up Sega's Daytona USA the other day. Now I didn't play it online but, that didn't mean I couldn't with Xbox. More importantly, I don't have a fear that Microsoft is going to shut down Daytona USA servers because MS engineered Xbox 2.0 in a way that they don't shut down the gamer experiences in-order to move forward with XBOX LIVE. Another words I get to enj...

Where have you been Sony always closes it's systems off. Sony shuts down game servers because they feel you should move on to other games. Yea, this is for the Players. RIGHT!

Wow you should have invested in the stock market 3 months ago and set all your investments to very aggressive earnings with all your facts because nothing ever changes. Yea, you'd be broke with those facts now!

It's not about Sony or Microsoft it's about base developers. Who will have the base design of most developers? Well that's easy its the XSX because it takes no effort to running game developed on PC to XSX. No effort! You'll here that time and time again in the next-gen development.... The base design is not going to be the PS5 it will be the XSX and the bank (developers) have spoken!

P.S. in no means am I saying game won't be developed for PS5. I...

All these parts running at highend speeds at all times doesn't sound like a console that's built to last. Even when PC's do this (super charging them) they have to replace parts sooner than later. Guess we'll find out!

Don't worry I won't do it again, he didn't listen the first time. The facts are the facts and they're pretty clear straight from AMD. This is what I said above and I quote "Did I say they would be worse than the Co-developed native API? No I didn't". Enough said!
