If you can't make the world interesting in your open world there's no point in doing so. The majority of OW games are not interesting, at all.
Plus Premium is like Netflix making sure you pay for the seasons before they release(and they don't even say when the first party will come to the service to get you to sub and stay subbed) lol Netflix releases their stuff as it comes out from their studios, it's actually THE NORM in subscription services which own parts of their development pipeline.

I'm in the minority on being quite up on this game. I think the gunplay, and conversations need work. The planets, like Mass Effect 1 will largely, from what I can tell be optional content like settlements in Fallout 4 where you need to find space/resources to do what you gotta do creatively. I agree, a lot of pressure has been put on this show. If I were Phil I would work toward not having to HAVE a banger show in place of consumer confidence. Looking forward to Avowed and Starfield though, even though the bigger picture I'm quite skeptical of.
AKA Phil flew out there probably saw the build, asked if they were confident, and Todd in a former self would have felt pressure to say yes from Zenimax, now was just honest with Phil about the current confidence with the general devs because if Phil allows Halo, one of the major tent poles for Xbox, to get delayed to get to a better place before launch then you can bet Todd felt like he could ask for a delay too. End of story.
