Playstation can't afford the upfront cost to actually get a Gamepass competitor up and running. This is literally a PSNow and Plus merger. It takes up front cost to onboard people to a service like Gamepass. And Sony can't afford that with PlayStation being it's dominant income, their 70$ games have to get immediate ROI they can't afford to spend 150m on a 5 year dev cycle to then release it into sub. I think it's interesting to see how it stacks up because the downloadable content will really be all that counts really. If it's a fraction then that's okay but streaming is still a ways off.
