In game tutorials are some of the most tricky things to develop in terms of trying to give the player enough rope to have fun with and not losing their attention and giving them guide rails so they actually learn the game and it's mechanics the way you are meaning for it to go.
Xenoblade really needs to work on getting it's gameplay out faster honestly. It took me 30 hours in the last game to get all the pieces together for the gameplay to start rolling and for it to feel good. That's too long honestly, great game, but yeah that definitely needs attention.

I tried Hades on XGB and bought it for the trophy and Steam achievements on those platforms. Same goes for Descenders which is such a lovely game to keep coming back to man.
