Sony knows that once this deal goes through they have to invest on multiple fronts which they don't want to do. They have to invest in their streaming, mobile, need to bring a shooter to market again, and also their subscription service.
Sony is fighting really hard, I'll say again, BECAUSE PLAYSTATION IS SONY'S GOLDEN GOOSE. That's it. No other third party publisher is complaining about competition. And Nintendo is all but silent as well.
