Well, if you take iTunes for example, I don't really use it because I have to register on a friends computer to play their music, so IMO it's too restricting. As far as movies, I pay netflix a flat fee to stream movies, but if I have a bluray movie, I can watch it with or without a connection to the internet.

I don't agree with this mentality of rolling over and taking it. It goes without saying that fighting back allows these companies to change their policies until both the consumer and the company get something that is mutually beneficial.

Depends on the restrictions, but once the PS4 begins to sell well, MS will have 1 of 2 options, 1) Pay out the ANUS to guarantee exclusivity, or 2) risk Sony getting in on one of the XBONE's key IPs for next-generation.
Either way, I think MS has more to lose than Sony at this point.

Interesting choice. I could see a game like CoD or BF4 not supporting this because of the differences between mouse+keyboard vs. gamepads, but this game seems to be all cooperative, would have been nice to see cross-platform play.

The KZ universe and lore really seems like it has been begging for this moment. The narrative of the world is such that you can imagine some vast areas, with large scale structures and battles to be had.

I actually don't blame MS for trying, the ones I blame are the consumers if they reward MS with sales and make the model they are trying to push a viable one.
At the end of the day, consumers drive the market.
