What's funny to me is the fact that a lot of people forget that the X1's HD is probably MS proprietary.

That $100 price difference is a factor, coupled with the fact that the extra $100 is for a console that might be less adept in the area of performance, and IMHO you have compelling argument for the PS4.
But I guess it comes down to value, if the X1 provides that for you, then by all means get it. After all, value is in the eye of the beholder depending on what you are looking for.

What MS was trying to do threatened to change gaming as we know it, and arguably not in a good way. MS deserves to be severely punished, as a warning to others, "don't mess with consumers".

I don't know, I don't subscribe to cable, nor do I have a cable box. I don't see myself getting cable anytime soon and would much rather use Netflix, Amazon, etc. All things that I"m' positive will be provided by the PS4. I'll pass on the X1.
I don't think they will, not just due to the Kinect, but also due to the fact that they would seem completely incompetent in their business model.
The DRM fiasco is a HUGE deal, now if they lower the price, effectively admitting that they were wrong on everything, it will look very bad.

Naw. Not a MS guy, but also, I think that since they tried to do this now, there is no telling what they will try to implement later.
Not to mention the X1 is $100 more and that kinect issue still exist. Not a compelling package to me in the least.

The level of detail on this looks unreal. I can't wait to see what the final product plays and looks like. Hopefully they have an awesome character creation system, I always like the idea of creating a character that reflects me.

People seem skeptical, but I think they will do a competent job. Once they study the previous games and find out what worked and what didn't and don't try to make it a BF clone with Starwars aesthetics, they should be fine.

Also, I don't thing they have conclusively said what the changes will be to your PSN, like if you will be able to change your gamer tag or not. Here is hoping you can tho.
