I really want this game. However this has to be a joke: "No one has really come close to jostling Capcom's T-Virus infected romp through Eastern Europe from its top spot since it arrived back in 2005. That is until now, of course," says the review. "
Think Silent Hill. SH kicked RE off the throne as soon as it got made. Resident Evil might be a slick Zombie game, but scary, not so, maybe good for some Boo moments but not true horror game.
I truly hope that this one doesn't leave the Sony camp, but I'm more of a Mortal Kombat fan, though this series did entertain me for some time.
Speaking in entertaining terms, games themselves are the best medium for extraordinary stories. But for some people it doesn't work, so for them I think the best way to experience that game is through a movie. Now what messes up the game-based-movies are your regular Hollywood incompetent producers and directors (*cough*Boll*cough*). The component that proves problematic in these game to movie transitions are fans expectations. I always think the director or producer should incorporate materi...
I'm hearing mixed talks about it, so which is it?
I mean it's pretty interesting concept. But to be always worried about strategically killing off an enemy might become frustrating for casual players like me. For me, enemy should be dead if I shoot it 4-5 times or anywhere for that matter. It could be especially frustrating under pressure where there could be lots of enemies or less ammo. Also, the concept of live inventory system has been done with Alone in the Dark, even though it's bit more refined here but it was never liked in AITD, let...
Let's just hope that game is better than current available horror titles.
that means I have to utilize in-game music feature to set the mood for the level.
it annoys me when sackboy can't make the jump right or won't stop at the right moment. That's the only complaint I have otherwise its all good. Also, I was told that there is no custom soundtrack feature in this game, as in inserting your own mp3 into the level from the HDD, is it true?
I mean who wouldn't wag their tail at the sight of a big cheque from MS and probably slobber all over it, besides select few. Sony needs to take some drastic action, I really want Sony to throw their own thunder at TGS, but its most unlikely. But let me be surprised.
But if we look at it from neutral point, FF-XIII coming to 360 is not a bad thing. Harm is ONLY done when either one version performs inferior to other OR when one console is not used to its [almost] full potential....
simply because Little Big Planet and Dead Space look a lot better in every respect. Even so, couple of screen comparison shots and people are starting to think it'll be a flop, it looked fine to me. I don't nitpick every single detail, and that's where the enjoyment is, imo. Nothing will be 100% perfect, that's what I always say.
I can't believe I would be passing up on Silent Hill, its my most favorite horror series. But American developers ruined it for me, I guess they should hand the next project back to Japanese team, if there is one. Because of my budget, I had to choose between Alone in the Dark, SH-H or Dead Space, looks like choice is clear: Dead Space, if it manages to score at least an 8 from Gamespot and IGN. But I will still hold out until Alone In Dark for PS3 gets reviewed, I am willing to give it a cha...
they can do it again. Wouldn't surprise me.
I would hate to see any of those go Lego. I just don't like Lego, all lego games look the same to me, don't know why I just don't like them, no offense intended to anyone who does like it. I'd rather get an actual Lego set than a game on it.
I am waiting for Alone in the Dark to come out for PS3 and with its stated fixes, the game is looking really good. This game has got average from what I see, and its possible Alone in the Dark may get reviews in the same vicinity as this. But trouble is I'm fan of both but I only have budget to get one of these, which one should it be?
Someone who has played it, tell me how does it compare to its predecessors? Is it successful in delivering tension, depression and fright like in ...
that's just me though. I really want to get my hands on some of the old classics, such as Resident Evils, Dino Crisis, and Legacy of Kain games, by the way who is in the position to release them, Sony or their respective companies?
for me it doesn't work. I'm not an online player, I like my games with Single-Player campaign, thus the reason I get DMC, GOW, Silent Hill etc. I'd rather do some physical activities with my friends than to go in virtual world and shoot things, so in that respect the Multi-player seems dry to me, not much of a story (*which is what matters to me) or point rather to beat the competition: but I guess Resistance 2 might change that; didn't they say they have an actual story cooked up for it (onl...
but blue looks much better than greenish-yellow. It has certain *coolness* to it. I think Red or Purple would have looked better on 360, and please I didn't say red cause of RROD, just because Red to me says Fearsome or Raging fury etc.
It keeps signing me out after a while and won't sign back in until I have done some resetting or something. The internet works fine but its the actual Account Sign In that's bugging me. Mine's running on wireless with all needed ports open, still it gives me that darn DNS or what error. Does anyone have any solution to this?
god of war?!
"that we should expand our game libraries beyond the boundaries of Japan and into the Western market, largely through MS' 360."
So in a nutshell, either he's saying to make more Japanese games come to Western market or he's encouraging developers to go Multi-platform.
