I'm not ruling out the possibility. But it would be sad to see it go multi-platform, but I'm not against it either. But what I think is not just is that competition always plays it dirty with trying to squeeze in some exclusivity for something that was exclusive to PS, such as Star Ocean and GTA etc, rather than to create and support their own. Majority of the time the scenario to me looks like: Sony creates, and MS takes it away.
I mean Sony knows how much this franchise means to them and it has always been vital for their consoles. It would have to be extremely stupid of Sony to let it slip away from their hands like this. Than again, I'm not ruling out the possibility since this gen has been full of shockers.
and it doesn't matters, if it is hurray for us gamers. Both machines have got enough exclusives of their own than to worry about which exclusive might go multiplatform.
This version of AITD is much better than its other versions. At least this game involves some innovative gameplay than rehashing same old ideas. Even though not all of them work to full perfection, some do work to playable degrees. So, what if its story is B-movie type, the game is fun, at least better than Silent Hill which didn't deliver as expected, not in respect to horror (which is done nicely in SH), but in respect to innovative gameplay. Even Siren beat Silent Hill this time, though I'...
so far we have zero info on this game, if this law suit settles, we better see some concrete information otherwise it'll be even more suspicious. I mean come on, after 2 years they can't even provide a working demo play??
I heard the 7th one was the best in the series. If it comes out on PSN I may give it a try.
the story seemed mediocre at best and the gameplay was slow. The time it takes to move from one area to another was also bothersome. After that I didn't even want to try another FF. But this 13th one looks better, and I may get it if its not too much like 12 gameplay-wise. Anyways, I don't think FF-13 going 360 should stop anyone from purchasing the game if your into RPG. The lead platform is PS3 so you know the product is going to turn out better.
Yes it would if advertised in right manner.
Your completely right. It depends on what your used to. I have used Dual Shock since I first bought my PS-1 and if I suddenly went back something like a NES controller, things would definitely look odd to me. But than again, in order to get a grasp of anything, you have to spend a considerable amount of time with it, than everything becomes piece of cake.
What I usually do, before buying a game that is, is to look at number of different reviews and if good ones out weigh the bad ones, than that tells me those who give that particular game a low score might be a bit too nit-picky. And those who give it a good score (usually a 7+ for me), are really impressed by the level of fun that particular game offers, and clearly those minor issues don't interrupt that fluidity of fun factor. That's how I buy my games, because I'm looking for fun factor an...
GOW-3 sure gets my heart pumpin'. And if all that info is valid, there's no doubt that GOW-3 is gonna kick some major butt.
still pretty good score. Nice to know it made a leap from "barely rental" to "good for rental", but I thought even previous versions were playable and having played PS3 I can say its loads better and worth a shot for rent.
they make it sound like a fact more than an opinion. And they kinda shot their own foot, confirming that they are biased.
It's a phenomenal masterpiece and no game has come close to its intensity both in terms of drama and action, for me at least. I hope it gets the GOTY award, even if it doesn't, it would be a GOTY for me :).
Where's my Beta invite? I'm sure after reading this, those that are not in the beta are asking themselves this question, well I am :). Not a shooter fan but this might bring me into the fold.
at least it made it to a rental status.
but in anycase, it doesn't matter. It wouldn't have mattered either way if NG would have "Supposedly" gone 360 exclusive because we all know that 360 is everything right? *Sarcasm*
However, I'm sure this is just the beginning, soon they will move their video game section to multi-platform to reach to the masses. With exception of few titles (such as MGS and GOW), I agree with people who favor multi-direction with majority of titles so we can all enjoy them.
than going ga-ga over 360 and churning out all those exclusives isn't favoring one console? Yeah right.
I mean I have still seen some games utilize the same old technique where when things break apart, the pieces disappear, does it happen in this?
I'm just speaking in accordance to my knowledge. On matter of networking, I recall reading an article which stated that Sony had initial plans for some form of social gaming in the days of PSX, something like chatting I suppose which never saw the light of the day. So, I don't think they technically took the idea from Dreamcast, I suppose they saw it as a wake-up call to get something done in terms of social gaming.
On note of hardware, I've always found Sony products to be of hi...
