another good review for the game. But it looks as if though the game could go either way, depending on person's taste in games. However, I still can't decide, Spider-Man or this, both look nice.
but so far it looks like a game for people who are comfortable with shooters. I'm not much into shooters, but make exception occasionally, such as this game. The limited ammo and strategic-dismemberment are what putting me off, I'm not a good shot and just like playing games normally as in Silent Hill or Resident Evil types, and I get frustrated easily after two or three consistent deaths. If they had only released a demo I would have had some idea as to what kind of game it is, otherwise I h...
RE hasn't been survival horror since RE-2 for me, it's just a game with Zombie, but with interesting story and characters.
but if they rate it a 9 or 10, it would say something about the game itself.
and I think we should try and let go of this disease that is fan-boyishness. At times I too gave into this but I'm trying really hard not to be one sided now. Of course, there are some people that might compel you to write nasty stuff but ignoring them time to time would do wonders.
and it looked like a nice enough game. I never picked it up because I'm saving for LBP and Dead Space. But just looking at it through the demo, nothing seemed wrong with it, I just try to enjoy the games. Also, I'm not much of shooter-games person perhaps that's why I never picked up on the bugs or lacking aspects of it. I'm not saying the Alone In The Dark could be the best of them, but it's certainly not the worst of them. I played the PS2 version and the only thing frustrating about it was...
the game is very much enjoyable than most average games this year. It has excellent graphics and sound, now with these fixes even the game-play has been improved, so what's the problem, your personal bias against the franchise that started the survival horror genre?
I did find it funny how they said that no quick turn-around is a wise decision to heighten the tension while this same feature was mercilessly attacked in Alone in the Dark. Some times I don't get these reviewers. But all in all, if this strategic dismemberment isn't too much of an issue, I might buy the game, cause I suck at shooters but do like horror.
I'd prefer a demo before I buy. But still reviews would be good enough as well.
Come on, cool down. There's no need to get worked up at what fan boys say or anything for that matter. Just laugh it out, okay?
Cheers.
That is actually pretty cool, and ironic that even if it is meant to be an insult to PS3, the fact that it can only be executed on PS3 is hilarious.
Spidey is gonna be going against that huge creature. Let's just hope this game doesn't disappoints.
darn it. It's so confusing under budget restriction, which one should I get?
did they announce FF-13 on 360 in Japan this TGS? I thought it might be one of the news from MS' side.
but still nice though.
PSX has tons of fun games to choose from that are still appealing and playable today.
content wise it might hurt PS3 if all games started to look for how to equalize games on 360 in accordance with PS3. Not saying they shouldn't come to 360, but to maximize the game's potential for PS3.
Why isn't Sony releasing all these to PSN here in NA and EU? This is seriously inconsiderate of Sony not to release them world-wide. I really want couple of classics like Resident Evil and Dino Crisis on my PS3.
I was hoping for a new Castlevania to arrive on current gen consoles.
How? Well if you have, how's the difficulty of the game. Does it gets frustrating easily for people with little to no shooter-game background?
