but this new camera technique along with re-writing of the movies doesn't really assures us a reboot that is close to the source material: it merely tells me that now action sequences will be a lot more immersive, and RE movies have strong focuses on action than horror for some reason.

Also, Milla is returning, so how's that exactly assuring us that in this reboot we'll actually get game-character focused stories? Heck, why bring Milla back at all, if this is a reboot?

but I just don't get why people hail him as someone so legendary? I like the guy, he was great in Evil Dead and in Hercules as King Of Thieves, and had pretty funny roles in SM movies, but Evil Dead movies weren't really that mind boggling, 1 was the best of them all, rest were turned into comedies. So what exactly is great about the guy as an "Actor" to regard him as a "Legendary Guy"?

I'm all up for a good director, but as someone who's been waiting this long for movie to come out, this extended wait time seems a bit ridiculous. All I meant to say was that they should hire some talented director who can START on the project earlier than Raimi can, not fly through the project: which would of course be silly.

Raimi doesn't have time on his hand, he's busy with Spider-Man 4. Get someone who can start on the project sooner.

Raimi is a good choice, but from what I read, he won't be starting on the project until he's done with Spider-Man 4, which means a very, very long wait. Get some talented director who can begin the project sooner. My only gripe is the time, wasn't the shooting supposed to have started in 2009?

well I speak for myself, since I only play offline and alone because it's easier that way.
