nice, but I think they'll find a way around it, don't they always.
Superman, Spider-Man or Batman, they would pop-up? And no Rights issue? If so, such a thing would be terrific, but I highly doubt that. I can't wait for the game though, it's pretty unique.
but I must say that it lacks many things. First of all the difficulty of taking down harder monsters, if those types are supposed to be hunted down through Multiplayer, why include solo play in the first place? Second, the camera still sucks, no lock on targets. Third, there's no story. 4th, the control scheme is bad, D-pad to change Camera angle!? They should have had something like press and hold Button L-R or some combination while using analog stick to move camera around much better in he...
even today its seeing many game releases, from big franchises such as Harry Potter (even though quality might be abysmal) and Silent Hill Shattered Memories to name a few. I still have my PS2 despite my PS3 being able to play Ps2 games.
didn't exactly had a bad ending, what do you expect, it's a horror game & it follows your typical horror movie ending with shocks and twists in todays fashion. If you think that's bad, then all the horror movies have had a bad ending. How can one be sure that it isn't a cliffhanger for a sequel.
and I really hope this games does sees a release on Windows. Besides, isn't PC and 360 basically similar in structure? In that case, it shouldn't be too hard for for Alan Wake to see a release on PC no later than a month, right?
I love the new setting of the game: Snowy Mountains. The 2 minute clip that was released, it was played out so well it seemed like a movie. However, I have to say that every character model looks good and realistic to a certain degree except for Elena's, don't know but her face looks as awkward as it did in Uncharted 1. I'm not a big supporter of platforming sections but Uncharted 1 really made it bearable by not being picky as to how you stand when you make the jump, in this game platforming...
Hollywood really does seem to go that way with video game movies. And I hope LaBeouf never makes it into any of the game movies, he's really bad.
In a horror game, I think it's best that they keep open-world features to a minimum, otherwise I think it becomes difficult to manage and the fright factor decreases greatly if not incorporated well. I think what sells a really good horror game is that the feeling of firght, menace, and isolation, and they are better handled if we follow a linear story-line, but not so linear that we can't make choices throughout the game.
ever since I saw it on E3, I decided to get it once it came out. It looks so much like Alone In The Dark meets Silent Hill, a good combination if I might add. I hope it sees a simultaneous release on both platforms.
even if PSP-Go does 480MHz, and future games do use the machine to its fullest potential, what will it mean for us PSP owners who have the older versions, : 1000-3000? I mean, wouldn't they be leaving us out in the cold, saying buy the new model if you want to play new games? In light of that scenario, I don't think that extra 147MHz would be utilized for games. But you never know.
just look at that game. It returned to the old ways which is still fun. I say that they should return MK to the 2d style fighting game with 3D visuals, and outrageous gore level, one heck of a dark story...music that actually fits the game like in the days of MK 1-3.
Dino Crisis and Legacy of Kain to your list and it's all complete.
Most of those games have had a sequel and who says they are not going to churn out more. We have enough Marios as it is, plus Monster Hunter keeps coming out as it is a established franchise that brings in money, no need to ask for more as there will be more, just this time on 360 and PS3. What I do want sequels to are:
Dino Crisis
Legacy of Kain series
Vagrant Story
Alone in the Dark
I won't buy it, cause I own a hard copy which I think is better :). However, I do think I will go ahead and get RE-3.
am I reading this right? Dino Crisis and RE-3?! YAY! Wish has been fulfilled. Now let's see Capcom releasing a new Dino Crisis if all goes well with release of DC-1 on PSN.
there so many other good villains than some of the ones on the list. Why the heck is Wesker no.2 and liquid that low, in my opinion Liquid had more class than Wesker. Even Aries from GOW is better than Nemesis, even though I like the souped up Zombie.
I don't know why anything such as that doesn't happens in Canada :(. I like the game very much and would welcome a gathering such as this to play with friends or attend Hunter's Event outdoors. What's more unfortunate is that, none of my friends have a PSP so no one to play Monster Hunter with.
but when I buy a boxed edition of anything, I expect a game disc, otherwise what's the point? In my opinion, they should have included the disc. On the other hand, if there's no download limit, than it's all good.
Enjoyed the first one and can't wait to get my hands on this sequel. Some of the puzzles were really interesting.
