with this title the 360 will finally have a game that looks better than Uncharted: Drake's Fortune. *fingers crossed* no offense but it would be nice to have an interest in a 360 exclusive once again. (Yeah I know it's Halo)
Haven't touched it since. I literally descimated everyone so badly I was like "are they even shooting their guns?" I was level 1 and I was taking down level 30's... easily. The lag is horrendous. I understand damage taking it's time during online matches, but if you empty a clip and your target doesn't even flinch cause from his point of view you aren't shooting, there's a major flaw. Oh well, let the failings of this game be a lesson to all devs from here on out. Dedicated servers ...
"people will get second jobs to get a PS3" well almost equally "dedicated-but-not-quite- as-legally" types will result to more "creative" means. Kinda funny, but yeah can't wait for the special interests groups to get a hold of this story.
how many more promises you gonna break? "Finish the PS3 version then port it to 360 to make sure the PS3 experience won't be hindered." Now if the 360 version (which is getting made at the same time btw) manages to get some extra content at the price of the polish of what the game used to have when it was Ps3 exclusive, why should we spend our money on something so sub-par? I mean kudos to MS for having the financial means to lower the bar to keep the playing field even for their in...
I guess you have to do what you can when Sony has Japan exclusively to themselves, but please continue to spin multiplats as exclusives. It's what we expect from companies that can't deliver...
you realize that GT's sales dwarf halo's right? There were more copies of GT3 sold than PS2s when that game launched. You have no idea what you're talking about if you think Halo sells more than GT. Europe doesn't bs when full GT's get released.
We can't even mention "overhyped" this generation without the looming cloud of Halo 3:ODST hovering over everyone's head.
Nobody would've been dumb enough to skip all the cutscenes on his first playthrough just to beat it in four hours. I beat Halo ODST on hard in 5 hours on my first and only playthrough. (which is sad cause the open-world padded the playtime an extra hour, so it's really only a 4 hour playthrough.) I didn't pay for it and I still don't think the experience is all that great. The game isn't worth 60 bucks, period, regardless of whether or not you liked it it's an overpriced experience.
as in the affect of giving undeserved praise after getting a "thank you" *cough* bribe *cough* "gift" of a duffle-bag full of Halo 3 edition xboxes, plus Halo 3 controllers, Halo 3 headsets, Halo 3 toys, and other goodies and the Halo 3 legendary edition for free (a "gift" almost totalling 1000 dollars... compliments of MS, of course) right before showering Halo 3 and it's overpriced expansion pack high scores? Are we talking about THAT affect Mr. Sessler? (Halo ...
That's all you need to F****** know.
that's unfortunate, learn to roll with the punches.
Never knew Le mans took place in Alaska where it can be sunny for 24 hours.
edit: A disagree? So it IS in Alaska?
edit 2: make that two disagrees...
edit 3: Then Dan shouldn't be trying tote Forza 3 as the best racing Sim this gen... Nobody at PD is talking ill at Forza or Turn 10. Yet Dan and Turn 10 have this seeming obligation to put down a more refined title that offers far more content.
GT5 dwarfs it twice over.
So much for "definitive"...
Someone call the WAAAAAAMBULANCE, the 360 fanbois are butthurt! Did the headline strike a nerve? I think it's totally kosher for these articles to start springing up, remember the first two years of the PS3's lifecycle was "The PS3 graphics don't compare to the 360" and "The PS3 is a failboat" articles that came up everyday? Call it Karma... Maybe MS should've put more money into the tech of the 360 and less on smear tactics.
See this is why you should do some research instead of trying to act like you know what you're talking about fool.
Someone tried to compare it to Too Human... wow. Honestly who looked at that game and saw something interesting? (Not the fact that it was 360 exclusive) From the get go (that tech demo) this game has carried itself as a more engaging experience than much of anything else this generation (maybe the last guardian will match it)
Happy belated birthday consumerist America!
No stuff, that's basically all the 360's got going for it. Explain how LBP can sell more than NG2 and fable 2? Oh that's right it throws your well-thought out thesis of games just not selling in the trash.
As the xbox 360 crowd plays the numbers game, I play the "watch the gaming media burn every bridge they can" game. I've completetly given up hope on them, as they seem dead set on shooting themselves in the foot.
