the Wii? If it weren't for the lack of 3rd party support I bet the Wii Would have sold like 200m consoles but now it will not even going to surpass the PS2.
It will be hard. America is the biggest video game market in the world and they seem to be very obsessed with the Xbox brand. America is a market that the only way to crack it is by being cool, by becoming part of the pop culture, and how do you achieve that? Through tons of advertising.
the only thing this game has going for it is the charm and time will prove me right. I know many people that started the game on Twitch TV and dropped it after 10-15 hours because of how boring it was.

edit: After seeing the chart for the USA... At least Europe has better taste than the Americans with a bunch of Kinect shovelware in the top 10.
MGS4 is the last one and everything coming after it will probably be a pre-quel of some sort. The only exception to this would be MGR but it was PG who wanted to change the time-line to make the gameplay more over the top.

GPGPU is a technique to offload CPU work to the GPU; it's not a chip. If it were a chip then it wouldn't need a CPU... And there isn't a single Wii U game running at 1080p. In fact the ports has been running at lower frame-rate than even the PS3 which is the console with the lowest frame-rate when it comes to multiplats.
After SOIV I really don't know how can you ask for a 5th one... I rather have a new IP with the space theme.

what is the difference? To me both games are more or less the same thing....
they used to dominate every territory but now they lost America completely and even though they are ahead in Europe the Xbox took a lot of market share from them on that region. The only place where they are dominating is Japan but the region is too small to give any real advantage.
