FFvs was either canned in secret to not upset the fans or it became a next-gen tittle but I'm pretty sure that we will not see this game on the PS3.
shouldn't Kratos be weaker for this game since he still wasn't a god? Because he looks like he is in Super Saiyan mode on this game compared to the prior ones....
cutting content from movies is fine because they can't last more than 3 hours but when we get games that can be beaten in 10 hours I believe that what they actually need is more content and not less. So I hope it takes more than 10 hours to beat this game if they are cutting 2 games worth of content....
how can you tell from such crappy quality video? They aren't even using software to test the frame-rate....

Yakuza 5 sold more than Mario and Monster Hunter combined. I think this should be enough for Capcom to re-think their approach. If Monster Hunter 3 would have stayed on the PS3 it would have sold so much more than the mere million it sold on the Wii.
and what do you say about the PS1 FF games? They are the most expensive PS1 classics just because they are Final Fantasy. Meanwhile Persona 3, one of the best Jrpg that Japan has a ever produced is only 5 bucks on the PS Store. -__-
true that. Starhawk is one of the most underrated games of this generation. And it's ironic since people these days only care about the online multiplayer and Starhawk is one of the best at that. But the lack of hype, inflated scores and advertising killed it.... =/
XBL is a joke. People are forced to pay $60 to be able to use Netflix and cross-game chat... Just think about it, not only half of what you have listed there is either wrong or a lie but you need to pay just to get basic stuff like: playing a game online.
You get nothing for paying since all those futures are already built on you console but you need to pay a yearly fee to unlock them. That's what I call a rip-off and you're defending it. How much lower can you get?

to me the best was MM8. All the the 8-bit ones are like playing the same game over and over again.
if you pay attention to the latest trailer you'll see that it either:
1) gives away the ending
or
2) there will be some epic twist

And it's good that he has done that because it may seem bad to some because of piracy but there are games like Suikoden II and Shining Force III that the only way to play them is through either emulation or by paying hundreds of dollars for a hard copy (and probably in bad condition).

But I find ironic that an IGN editor is writing something like this when IGN always give GOTY to the most popular game of the year and not to the one that really deserves it. And most of their reviews are inflated by hype and the swag they get from the publishers too.

Mortal Kombat and Marvel vs Capcom 3 were 60 frames on the Vita too. But they didn't look very pretty though.
it could be worse. GeoW is an amazing franchise so Xbox fans can be sure that at least 1 exclusive worth owning an Xbox will be released next year.
