Man, this article is sad. The author doesn't has the slightest idea about what is he talking about. The guy doesn't realize that GPGPU is an implementation. He actually thinks the Wii U has something similar to Intel's Larrabee which was a complete failure. =/
Example of GPGPU implementations on the PC is Just Cause. This implementation is to make up for the weak CPUs on the PC environment because PC gamers tend to build PC's with powerful GPUs but weak CPUs. ...
good reception and age.
prices go down but specs don't go up!
I don't even understand why they want 4K to begin with!
Wii U can't even maintain stable 30 frames at 720p just like the PS3 and Xbox.
Devs are still depending too much on the CPU for these kind of stuff instead of taking advantage of the GPGPU implementations.
This is like the PS3 in its first year all over again when Devs didn't take advantage of the SPE's.
you could say the same thing about those that go into every article praising Nintendo like a blind sheep from left to right. Everybody sees things differently and have different opinions that's a rule from life.
I always agree with her and try to give her bubbles out of pity. lol
so many Sega re-release and still no Shenmue or Shining Force III anywhere!
not even PC with the most powerful hardware right now would be able to play games at 4k. Beside, you would need a 100" monitor to notice any difference anyway, so 4k would only be a waste of resources.
but Killzone is a corridor ala FF13 while Planetside 2 has multiplayer maps at a scale that we have never seen before. BTW both games are from Sony anyway.

Dragon Quest VIII: can't even say which one I like the most. This game has the best OST. Period.

Sony should have kept the Cell for the PS4. Devs already know how to work it and they would have saved tons of money on R&D too.
Those APU CPUs are way weaker than current console's CPUs! Cell with 16 SPE's, 4GB of Ram and a decent card like an HD 5770 would have been a beast console and really cheap. But now we are gonna get an overpriced weak console with a freaking APU. =/
why are people so stupid as to keep using Youtube for comparisons? Youtube has crappy compression and it upscale and downscales any signal to 30 frames.
I really don't know how some people can forget about old games that easily and just play new games all the time. And the worst thing is that when a game becomes old its price skyrockets to the moon and it becomes next to impossible to get ahold of a copy, even used! Example? Suikoden II. I'm still dying to play the game but I don't want to pay like $200 for a used copy nor play it through an emulator!
And the thing is that if I wanted to watch an old movie like Bl...
too bad it's on Youtube so we can't enjoy the higher frame-rate too. =/

and a new guy that is a Baseball player will be replacing Tanimura. And each one of them will start on their own city so that means that beside Kamurocho there will be 4 more cities. There are tons of new mini-games like: a Taxi-Cab Confession kind of mini-game, hunting, car chases, cooking, the entire Virtua Fighter 2 game will be in the Sega arcades (and with online play!) and Haruka's main gameplay will be like iDOL...

on newer models of the Xbox the GPU and CPU were combined on a single chip called SOC (system on a chip). But this is not a GPGPU. This is just a method to reduce hardware size and to increase efficiency of the power consummation.
A GPGPU is a GPU that is just as fast as a CPU while having specialized cores like Cuda, or the Stream Processors of AMD. By this definition you would think that the PS3 CPU is a GPGPU because the SPE's are specialized cores that can render grap...
