Batman year one is still Batman with just a few changes but the core concepts are still there and you know from the get go that it still is Batman. But what is this DMC reboot?
Story is completely new (including background story, Dante is now the son of a demon and angle), characters while sharing some names with prior games they are completely different in style and attitudes, combat system is more Heavenly Sword...
God of War is greek mythology and if you have read any of it then you should know how crude it is. And GOW has always been GOW, that's the difference. There are no fans to upset because if you were a fan of the first game then not much has changed in terms of style and direction meanwhile this DMC game is a reboot that betrays its own roots.
that Capcom and NT said this was a true DMC game but the more we know about it the more we realize that this game is just DMC in name alone.
sex appeal is one thing but putting actual sex on a game in hopes of making the story more edgy is an entirely different issue. DMC is a freaking hack & slash game for god's sake, we don't want a movie with deep meaning and crap, what we want is crazy good stylistic combat and this game's combat system is not DMC it is Heavenly Sword under a new skin.
Do a demon/angel dodge and you get SSS with 3-4 hits! -__-
YLOD was supposedly under 9% failure-rate while RRoD is all over the place. Some say over 25% and others say 36%!
But to be honest, I don't know a single person in real life who hasn't gone through at the very least least 2-3 Xbox... Even my barber which was a hardcore Xbox supporter jumped ship to the PS3 after his 4th Xbox went down. =/
not everybody has internet or wants to pay for Live. I have friends with an Xbox and no XBL subscription, they just use it to play the Halo campaign and stuff like that while they do all the online gaming on PS3 because it's free.
because better sales usually mean better support from 3rd party devs for that particular console.
these games went from Lightning and friends trying to defeat a demi-god on a technological universe to time-travel and Lightning becoming some kind of Valkyrie and now to different dimensions and stuff. This series is a freaking mess, it's like 3 totally different games that have nothing to do with each other but recycling the same characters.
talking about their IPs I think instead of making FF13-2 they should have saved the time-travel premise for a new Chrono Trigger/Cross game instead of using it to milk this not so good FF13 game. =/
And I remember that like 4 years ago they said they were going to bring back Parasite Eve to consoles again but it never happened.
the first one has better battle system but the second one is better at everything else.

future proof from what? Once the CPU and GPU hit their limit more Ram will do nothing to improve the performance of games.
I wish Crytek would be more clear about how would they make use of 8-32GB on a console because it really makes no sense.
PS3 has 512MB of Ram too... And like 50MB of it are reserved to the OS.

If your issue is the controller then download motioninjoy to use the PS3 controller or just use an Xbox controller.
6, 7, 8 and 9 will forever be the best FF games and no other FF game will ever be able to surpass any of them.
they should stop listening to the fans and being manipulated by EA and create what they want!
why people can't let go of this series? I mean, there are 14 games already (many with sequels) and the last few has been terrible and most of the other games from Square on consoles has been equally terrible. Nomura is the only person left with talent on that company and he takes 10 years per game!
Instead of clinging to the past people should look at the future, look for other games that can replace this defunct series. Soon we'll get Ni No Kuni, more Persona games a...
