I'd say PC has something that looks better, but on consoles? Yes.
I don't do drugs, but if I did, I'd want some of what he's having.
Nice showing, although I am a bit disappointed at the absence of any hint of Sorcery and other new Move games. I'm also a bit sceptical about the new PSP model, will it sell this close to launch of Vita? That price is very tempting of course, but still. I guess those who are really tight on money will buy it but I personally am going to save that 150€ more and get a Vita at some point.
I hope this kind of business model doesn't spread to consoles as it is. At least I don't have to buy my Phoenix Downs for real money in FF XIII.
Super fast XMB wouldn't be a glitch, it would be an improvement. :P
Doesn't concern me, since I don't have Plus.
I mostly agree with you, but not on all things.
The battle system. I want to have full control over all my characters, because sometimes I just want Hope to cast a specific buff only, and then change him back to a medic or ravager. In most cases the AI casts the buffs you don't actually need, and this needs to be fixed in FFXIII-2 IMO.
I also found the story very enjoyable and understood it completely, but I agree that it should've been implemented in...
@EVILDEAD360: I actually didn't think about using Kinect as a hybrid before, and I do agree that this is the right way to implement Kinect to enhance the experience of core games. After considering this I don't support my fanboy words from last week and would like to take it back, but this is internet. Used like that, Kinect is not a bad thing at all, but for now I personally prefer a device like Move, which completely changes the way I play games. This might change in the future, whe...
@newleaf: Isn't that exactly what Microsoft is doing? Copying Sony.. Remember EyeToy?
@green: How is it not the same thing? With Move you can play many core games, but yet I see people whining that they need to make games for Move only until they can be called core Move games. I really don't understand how somebody sees this choice between DualShock and Move as a bad thing. You can play several games with either one of them. Compared to Kinect which so far has no core...
Why is it that when a core PS3 game can be played from start to finish with Move, it's not considered a real Move game, and people whine that Move needs more Move-exclusive games, but when Xbox360 gets a game that seemingly can't be played on Kinect alone, it's now a real Kinect game?
I'm not pointing at you, though, I'm talking in general.
Wasn't Kinect supposed to revolutionize the way we play games? So far all I've seen is casua...
No real gamer would pass on such a good game.
If Angry Birds on my SGS2 would like hyper-realistic and play at 1000fps and 16000x100000 resolution, I would still prefer to play most of my games on my PS3, why? Because I want CONTROL, which will never be achieved on a touch screen nearly as well as on a controller.
The only way this can get any better is to release trophy support patch for MGS4 as well.
Of course they matter, but not nearly as much as good gameplay and story does.
Cardboards I can somewhat understand, because there was no spinning hard drives with high capacity back then and they had to start somewhere. But the rest of those are just ridiculous.
And the States is the whole world? I'm tired of people who think only USA sales matter.
I think this is a good thing. With so much stuff coming out later this year and some of them being really big names in the industry it's really better to push until a bit quieter time. And also this gives them time to polish the game and maybe even add new content, which will result in a better game for us. It's a win-win IMO.
No matter what games come for Kinect, it will always be a failed gaming gimmick to me and I can't enjoy playing on it, because of the nature of gameplay it has. I've tried a few games like Dance Central, Kinect Sports and Child of Eden, and I didn't enjoy them on any level, because I found the controls frustrating and laggy. Thus IMO it doesn't matter what games come for it, it's a big fat failure without buttons. Naturally there are people who really enjoy Kinect, but for...
I still have the Philosopher's Stone for PS1 in my shelf. Played it last year again just for the nostalgia and the lulz. The Finnish voice acting is a big fat pile of BS, the worst I've ever heard.
My neighbors cat could probably write a better article than this.
I'll pass on this one and get Battlefield 3 instead when the price drops a bit on that one and after I'm done with most of the older PS3 games.
