I don't even care if it's a remake or a HD remaster! Just don't change anything important too much and please have a decent trophy list and I'm more than happy with it.
It'll be interesting to see what kinds of games they'll make that utilize this feature.
I like challenges. IMO games that are too easy are more boring than too hard ones. And I never rage like described in the article during gaming. I'd go see a doctor if a game made me break controllers, scream and shake in rage.
I'm not exactly sure, but I've seen and heard many people complain about it missing some modes that were on PS2 version. I've been wondering where's the news on that? I'd actually like real confirmation on that myself too.
I'll pass on this one. 11 lame trophies and HD isn't reason enough to pay 20€ for this, especially since my PS2 version has more game modes than this. I was excited by this at first but not so much anymore since Crapcom failed miserably with this by having the worst trophy list I've seen to this day and failing to give us all the game modes that were in the PS2 version and Move support.
This.
Also I personally wouldn't have even known if I hadn't read it from N4G, since I was seemingly doing something else when that downtime happened. Too bad for those who were affected with this, but this was a lot of noise for a little thing.
Gears of War 1 wasn't the first game with a cover mechanic.
In the end the winners are the consumers. Competition is always a good thing, no matter which side is "winning". Competition creates bigger desire to do a better game and with two sides trying to best each other, the consumers get 2 awesome games. People should realize that, stop trolling and start playing these games, because both of them are awesome.
I think FF XII was pretty open, it had so much areas to discover and roam through it made up for the lack of a world map IMO. But I still agree with you completely.
Is there not enough blood in your brain to go around?
Looks beautiful. Roaming outside the city looks very much like the older FF games. That's how it should be done. The huge plane in FF XIII was boring as hell and that was only one field. Take note SE!
You must accept it to install the new 3.72 firmware. If you're on that firmware, you've already accepted it. If not, then update.
I'd rather keep the rappers and biebers out of my gaming, thnx.
The fact is, MS is better at marketing than Sony. And with Sony having a lot more exclusives lately, it just makes sense that because everyone doesn't have the money, time or interest to buy them all they sell less compared to the Xbox360 exclusives, which are few and far between and less diverse in style.
"In fact, Konami has yet to officially announce the compilation for the U.S. and European markets."
I'm pretty sure that's not true.
Wow, that looks very realistic, especially the lighting!
There's a difference between bad storytelling and bad story. FF XIII had bad storytelling but not a bad story.
I know MGS2 wasn't that good compared to the other entries, I was just saying that why weren't any of the other MGS games mentioned in the "best" portion of the article.
Agreed. I'd also like to mention the awesome work of Kow Otani on the Shadow of the Colossus soundtrack. If this isn't inspirational, I don't know what is.
Can't wait to hear this on Sony's new 7.1 headset!
Agreed. Options are good. I actually prefer having multiple difficulty settings than an automatic one, because we most probably aren't going to see a well implemented automatic difficulty setting any time soon. And besides, some people just like to play games on easy and others like the challenge. It was a great feeling when I beat Uncharted on Crushing for the first time, to overcome the challenge. If the game had adjusted the difficulty on the fly to make it moderately challenging but n...
I'm going to disagree with you on FF XIII plot. The plot was excellent, it's just the way it was presented was horrible. The plot was very understandable and very good if you read the datalog and actually stopped to think what are the characters motives and what's driving them forward. But I can see how easy it would've been to get confused if you didn't take the time to read and digest the datalog. But also I think that if you don't take the time to do that, you shoul...
Thanks for the heads up! Have a bub.
Totally agree with you. A slow start doesn't necessarily mean failure. PS3 had a slow start, and it's not a failure. Also I think it's safe to say that the best is yet to come for the 3DS as far as games go, and good games usually mean good sales. While it's not selling as well as was expected, it's definitely not a failure. And neither will Vita fail, with such impressive line of games and features it's getting. And 250 for Vita is very cheap IMO. I'm getting sick...
