Wouldn't touch this with a long stick.. Just slap Gioteck Real Triggers and ORB analog thumb grips on the DS3 and it's just perfect unless you have big hands. Never really understood the whining on PS3 stick placement, my thumbs rest perfectly right on them. Perhaps it's just a matter of habit.
I have only 3 platinums so far but beating GoW3 on titan mode was indeed the most rewarding one for me, maybe because it was my first. I also have plats from Uncharted and AC2, FF XIII plat is next up. I'd say 20-30 hours to go for that.
I love trophies because they give games replay value and it's also a way to tell other what games you like (unless you just go for the easy plats, which is NOT the way you should use them). I first play the games normally and enjoy th...
Nothing sad about that from anyones standpoint. Unless you're a total fanboy. While I'm going to pick up Vita, I find this raise in sales of 3DS a very good thing. After all, gaming industry needs competition.
Totally different markets for both of them, there's no comparing these two at all like that.
Looking good there, definitely going to check this out.
So if you've played a game you find better than some other game, then that other game "isn't actually good". You're not a real gamer if you run around saying BS like that IMO.
And btw, this is my 4th generation of gaming and Unharted is in my list of top 10 best game series.
Finnish sobriety? ROFLMAO, I think we're like 3rd or 2nd least sober folk in the world.
Interesting read, it certainly seems like Rovio won't be a one hit wonder. Totally agree that flexibility is very important today.
I think it's closer to how pale he is IRL.
This is blasphemy... JUST STOP!!!
You can skip them, you know.
This reminds me of the people who were whining that MGS4 had too much cutscenes without giving a second to the thought that it wouldn't be nearly as good without the cutscenes and deep story. What happened to appreciation towards good, complex and deep stories combined with stunningly visual cutscenes?
So true. While I personally have owned only NES and PS1-3, I have enjoyed a lot of other games too that are not on those systems. Such as Halo 1-3, Fallout 1, 2 & Brotherhood of Steel, LoZ: Ocarina of Time & Majora's Mask, Super Mario 64, Forza, Fable, all main pokemon games up to Emerald and the list goes on. At some point I will own multiple consoles too, but at the moment my budget can only afford one.
Yes! It was Bugs Bunny Birthday Blowout on NES. Oh, the memories. Goes to check it out on YouTube. -> ... *AAAAAAAAAAGH!!! My ears!!* I can't believe I've actually completed that game in one sitting, how am I not crazy from listening to that tune?
There obviously are PC fanboys too, so I doubt it's the reason, maybe you're just not a fanboy.
I am and am not a fanboy. When it comes to Sony, I can admit that they don't do everything right. I don't like the idea of online passess, they should finally give PS3 cross game chat, they should've made PSN more secure before Anonymous hit them, the R2 & L2 buttons on the controller should not curve towards you but away from you, they should give a hdmi ca...
Looks good, finally they made it so that it looks like the wrestlers actually weigh something. They looked like empty shells to me before. I hope they make it so that your opponents actually get tired. I don't know about PS3 or X360 version, but at least in PS2 version no matter what you did and for how long, it was impossible to put your opponent on the announcer table (or a normal table), climb on top of the HiaC and crash and burn down on your opponent. I really wanted to do that but n...
"It doesn't need exclusives."
Wow, nice defence mechanism there. Every console needs exclusives, and the more the merrier. If MS doesn't start getting more exclusives, more people will be tempted by PS4 at the time of their release.
@sidar
"So you really are having trouble with an extra screen within your palms?"
Yes, I am actually. I want to concentrate on one display when I play. DS is an exception and works well, but you can't really compare the 2 because with DS your eyes don't have to change focus to different distances and you don't have to turn your head all the time. I also prefer the design and shape of a PS3 controller as well, so having a screen being a p...
@allyc4t
While I love spending 5 minutes playing Angry Birds on my SGS2, it will never replace my dedicated gaming. The interface, controls or games can't compete with Vita on any level.
Nobody is saying that the smartphone market doesn't affect the sales of handheld consoles, but it certainly isn't destroying it either. As long as there are core gamers there will be handheld consoles and they will sell well.
The disappointing sal...
@sidar
I prefer only one screen for my games, thanks. I don't have a problem with Wii U having this, since I'm not going to buy it anyway, I just don't want it on PS4. How does that make me ignorant, preferring a regular controller over this? And even if time will tell me that most people love this and Wii U dominates sovereignly the next gen, that doesn't make my personal taste and opinion any less valid or more ignorant.
Have you ever heard ...
There is a market for the PSP with a 99€ price tag. Just as Dramscus said, everybody doesn't have the money for a Vita, especially in some poorer countries, where PS2 is still selling very strongly. And about the same price of PS3 and Vita.. There's 50+ million PS3 owners who are drooling over the Vita. And also there's a lot of people who already have a home console they're happy with and don't want another, but will buy Vita instead. And let's not forget those who pr...
@BrightFalls76:
I don't hear my PS3 Slim reading the disc if I don't intentionally listen to it and saying it sounds like a printer makes me think you either are exaggerating or haven't even seen a PS3. But it's true that choice is better than no choice, Sony should change their approach regarding installations on the PS4. Optional full install, optional partial install and no install. That's the way it should be.
