EA's not even bashing on the man, this website totally took that comment out of context of the overall situation. Shoddy journalism.
The basic premise of this is that the Miyamoto isn't as creative with his products as he once was, and that's what people want is creativity with new IP's at the moment, or at least that's what the market is showing. And, as EA says, the creativity is being found on iOS devices.

Not really true. Microsoft had XNA and an indie platform way before Sony really jumped in on the indie market.

I've been on this site long enough to know that. But it doesn't help posting a comment like that, if you don't want a flame war to start, or whatever you like to call it, start a discussion. Easy as that.
Personally, Sony's my go to console for indies at the moment until Microsoft takes a warmer embrace to indies.

Not like we haven't seen enough of that this generation...sigh, in a way it creates good business for competition, and I don't mind debating, but when people get personally offended by differing opinions, especially over a video game, you know there's an issue.
He's getting disagreed with because Call of Duty does'nt suck at "basically everything". Who cares if it's "noob" friendly? There's Gamebattles if you want to play competitively. Stop complaining just to complain.
Yea, surprisingly it's the little changes that got me excited. Graphics look marginally improved, animations more fluid and as you said, it just looks like mindless Call of Duty fun.

Some people like to keep track of that. Raptr does exactly that and its got millions of users.

I've actually used OnLive quite a bit and if you hook up a PS3 controller to a tablet like my Galaxy Note, it's great. I can play full console games on the go as long as I have internet.
Obviously Gaikai is restricted to the PS4, but assuming that it works the same way OnLive works, I may pick up a Vita if Gaikai is compatible with it.
Actually, it is DICE. They merged the Danger Close team with members of DICE and created an all new studio at DICE LA.

Yea, but it's not JUST the guys from Danger Close. They're hiring talent from all over the place according to your link, so I don't think there's much to worry about. Neither MOH were that bad of games. The story was pretty shallow in Warfighter, but at least they attempted it.
Other titles meaning the original Battlefronts? Cause to me those just felt like bot matches and nothing more haha.

Yea it's sketchy and Sawyer doesn't seem to have a Twitter so we can't get in contact there. They did say on Twitter a few days ago the trailer was unofficial and rushed out to get the annoucement out. Talking with the CEO now to try and get some more information and proof.
Either way, made a request to mods to mark it as a rumor.
It's looking good, excited to see it in action.
