Very buggy though. Just like Sniper Ghost Warrior 2. I think the Cryengine will really shine in the next-gen though.
The article isn't really trying to complain about anything. It's just throwing points out there. We'll be sure to put a disclaimer in the next one that it's not actually a "rant". It's just a series of articles, don't be too sensitive about it and don't attack the author for having an opinion.
That's the standard edition though, the Day One edition sold out. Just like the same with the PS4 Release Day edition or whatever it's called, now they're selling a Standard Edition.
What are you talking about, it's been in the top pre-orders on Amazon right behind PS4? Provide a link to somewhere it has proof, definite proof that the Xbox One pre-orders are behind that far and I'll believe ya.

Kickstarter gives me some extra push to go out and try to develop my own game. In a way, if it doesn't get funded I know I need to try something else, and if it does get funded, that's just got to be like the best feeling in the world and a big boost to your moral to get the game done.

He actually make a good point about assassins creed. Think about it, when you kill a group of enemies all the work is done for you by either just clicking square and seeing a new animation or by watching a sick cutscene for a double kill etc. Ryse at least gives you control of the kill and gives you more to do for cinematick kills other than clicking one button over and over again.
The quality of indie games has come a very long way in the last two years. The quality bar has really improved, and will not continue as developers continue to gain more knowledge.
This is such a lame article. There's no proof, just the author's assumptions that Ubisoft is "lying" about the game not turning a profit just because it shipped over 500K units. Why would a company not make a sequel to a game if it was profitable and why would a company bother making a sequel to something that is NOT profitable like ZombiU.
Why don't we just fucking wait for an official word from EA instead of freaking out over nothing. Not surprising at all. Next up will be a petition from the other side asking for extra DRM practices on the PS4. It's sad that the consumers are a lot of the time just as silly as the big bad companies.

It pisses people off here because a lot of them THINK they understand the industry and KNOW why companies do things. It's funny that they think people posting middle fingers on Microsoft's FB page helped. You really think Microsoft is "grateful" for that feedback? No.
Do you have a fact that Microsoft did it because of the pre-orders? No, you don't, just like most of the other people running their mouths here. Cliffy B knows the industry, he's worked in it. Some of the things he says may be a bit outlandish, but for someone whose worked in the gaming industry and had a position like him, I'm sure he knows more about what's going on then you or me.

Why do we have to make the dog SUCH a big deal? Seriously. If you expected big changes in Call of Duty I feel sorry for your disappointment. There's other options people.
As much hate as Ryse has received, I actually like my hack and slash games having QTE's like that. For me, it just makes it more enjoyable to play and watch and varies the gameplay. God of War does good QTE's no doubt, but only for the bosses. The mini bosses like Minotaurs etc, it was the same execution over and over and it gets old quick. Still fun, but can get a little stale.
