30+ hours of gameplay with each. A lot of games give you half of that and charge you 60 bucks.
Evil
Should probably read the initial comment before getting all defensive. I was specifically talking about AC, not The Witcher in my comment.
It's not even that really, but I mean, it's just too simple. I feel like I button mash in that game more than a lot of other recent action title releases.
Your comment makes my brain hurt at how ridiculous you sound.
Not that Ryse has the best combat system in the world, but I felt like I had a lot more control in a game like that or Batman than I do in the Assassin's Creed games. The combat in those games feels clunky now compared to other games. At least to me it does.
If this is like Dear Esther with more involvement then I can't wait to try it.
barb_wire "This dude looking for a job or something?"
Are you for real? That's how you get a job, you build portfolios of your work. You think someone will hire you just because you say you CAN do something? No. They want to see what you CAN do.
This looks and sounds like a lot of fun. I love survival games and it's nice to see a different take on it. The weather effects being a prime threat is also very interesting.
Does it REALLY look stunning? God, those words sites put into titles to make it "pop" more is so annoying.
Gameplay looks good.
If you haven't played it yet it's a pretty good game. If you have played it I can see why you'd say that.
Loving all the horror games coming out. Outlast, SOMA, this, The Forest. Keep em coming. Oh and Isolation :)

Yea, as the guy said above, with Oculus Rift...good lord.
I didn't write this review, but I've played the game and I can tell you, if you liked XCOM, you'll absolutely love this game. The choices are hard to make, the turn based combat is very satisfying and the musical score is fantastic. Play it, you won't regret it.
The last minute or so of the video got me really excited for this. The tension when the lights went out was great, especially listening to it on a good headset. I have high hopes for this, and seeing the most websites actually previewed the game and got to try it rather than see the tech demo and Pitchford playing only increases that hope. (I know Pitchford has nothing to do with Isolation, just what happened with the previous Alien game)
There's so many games coming out in the next few months that I'll happily enjoy a game I can beat within a few days to move onto the next.
Evolved seems to be a bit of a bigger project that the original. I think there's a lot more going on here than the original project.
Aw cmon, it's a small indie developer. Having a non-silent protagonist isn't something you see very often. Yea, the lines cliche, but it's one line.
I'm really surprised at how good the few seconds of footage looks from the game. I didn't think much of this when we first reported on it and the first screenshots released. Now I'm really interested in it. Can't wait to see how the shooting looks.
It's open world. You can go back and finish other quests etc or just explore.
