"Talked it up"?
Really? The game is touting an online campaign. You can't have a campaign without some AI in the game? Respawn never even hinted at the player count being high. People made up their own expectations for what they wanted to hear and now it's being based for it.
The developer is right, play the game before you say the cloud doesn't work and all that jazz.
Yup, there's no reason to freak over this player count. They never even hinted at bigger player counts so I don't know why people are acting so surprised.
Well, if I don't have to worry about dying every 20-30 seconds without camping then I'm all for it.
I don't think that it's not because it can't handle it, but because it's not tailor made like he said. Basically means it's not optimized.
It was known they were making an Aliens game, but unknown which game it was. Nobody knew if they were still working on it or not after Colonial Marines.

Yea, I guess that's more of what I mean by the combat was "stiff". Just compared to other games like Darksiders, God of War etc that had similar mechanics it just didn't feel as good to play.
Hoping I enjoy this one more than the first. Combat just felt way too stiff in the first game.
Why's it such a BIG deal that they're re-releasing this? If you already bought it don't buy it again, simple as that. There's no reason to act like their a greedy company over this.
There's people that didn't buy it on PS3 and Xbox 360 and those people may or may not be interested in getting it on the next-gen consoles.

What a load of crap. The guy had as much to do with this as Derp and made money off it? He's just as bad as the guys screwing with servers. Twitch should have turned that stream off for him taking part in malicious activities.

I've only played Crystal Chronicles on the Gamecube, so I don't have an acquired taste for the franchise. After watching a few gameplay videos on IGN, I kinda want to try it.
No. Reviews should review the game as it's released, make note of the problems in the game so the developers can fix the problems. No point in re reviewing the game since, most of the time, the base game stays the same. Unless your Under the Ocean and go from a 2d game to a 3d game, then sure, re review it.
Also, I wouldn't knock the game that much even with the amount of bragging you see here. Tomasz Gop was the EP of The Witcher series, so he certainly knows how to make a good RPG.
This isn't a cross-gen game. It's only coming to Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
Really looking forward to seeing this game in action. Good to know they've been working on the trailer for a few weeks now for the gameplay.

The game isn't an open world rpg akin to a game like Skyrim etc. There's open areas to explore. This is specifically looking at the main quest for the game.
We have a big interview going up Thursday that will hint at when you'll see gameplay ;)

Past Killzone games had 24 players, that's why there was a big problem there. People set expectations for a player count with Titanfall and the developers stated what people apparently didn't want to hear. Guess what, it's their game and what they think works right is what they're going to do.
Don't act like everyone's a hypocrite about it before you look up the facts (referring to Killzone).
