Lol, I'm playing Titanfall right now on my X1, you want a pic?
Are you people for real right now?
"Yea ok Greenturd why should we believe a lying sleazeball like you? Btw love the tweet below Greenturds tweet lol"
That's literally the saddest comment I've seen on in here in a while. The amount of agrees he's got astounds me.
I wouldn't say "trolls" really, just differing opinions. It's not as good looking as Battlefield 4 per say, but there's other games coming out soon that will show off graphics. Titanfall is fun and that's what matters to me.
Thought Activision wasn't going to do as many licensed properties anymore. They have so much money from their franchises, it'd be nice to see them bring out more new IP's. Destiny is a great start, but seriously, they could be doing so much more than cash in licensed properties.
Guess it's good for the kids though, they do a great job of at least providing family(ish) games with their licensed properties.
The graphics are pretty good imo. There's a lot of little effects going on, and the Titan animations are really great to look at from the ground. Sound design is great too, everything booms, having a lot of fun with the beta right now aside from wanting the player count to be risen for human players.
Having plenty of fun with the game so far, but I do agree there could be more human players over bots. Just limit the amount of Titans that can be spawned at one time, maybe 4 per side at a time, maybe 5. I know certain things aren't being implemented right now so they can just stress test the servers, but the bots don't do a whole lot of fighting and it makes the game feel way too easy.
What you listed is half of what Abraiel posts here. Majority of "news" coming from Dualshockers says this game looks great! Well great, someone thinks the game looks good, how is that news?
You're absolutely right, I don't know. But due to the fact that Ready at Dawn is focusing so much on the SP aspect, it's only fair to compare it to games like Batman: Arkham Origins etc, that had no need for a MP mode and suffered critically for it.
As I said in the article, with such a creative concept that Ready at Dawn is making, there's probably room for a creative multiplayer mode that could be a lot of fun. But for now, I'd prefer they take the safe...
Mentioned God of War: Ascension and The Last of Us as successful in the article :)
@ theDECAY
We'd be frowned upon if we hadn't :p In all seriousness I didn't even realize there were similar articles before writing this.
As a single player site though, it's good to make note of games that aren't afraid to exclude tacked on MP components for a higher quality single player experience.
If recent indie titles have taught me anything, I'd rather have a good game that a graphics showcase. Not going to add to the this is better than that discussion. I agree with the comment above saying its good that devs are taking advantage of the extra power if it's available. I'm sure the game will look great no matter where you play it.
That's what I'm saying though. I mean, sure, the fans deserve better no doubt, and I'm not holding my breath for this years' game. Ghosts was a small step forward, but not the leap I was hoping for.
But if it's bringing money to the gaming industry, and you're still playing the games YOU want to play, what does it matter to you if the quality improves?
Not trying to sound snarky or anything, just conversing :)
Not really sure why everyone wants the series to die. It brings a lot, A LOT, of money to the gaming industry and you know what? It has little to no effect on the games coming out in the next 12 months. There's something for everyone to play. Having a series as significant as COD die would just spell bad news for the industry.
If you don't like the series, don't play it, don't read about it and don't talk about it. Problem solved. Go play a game you wanna...
Yea, we focused on the single player component of the games for this one, since there aren't a whole lot of strictly single player games announced for the X1 yet. Indie games, as with the PS4 are the main games that are only single player. Save for The Order.
Yup, it's a timed-exclusive. No PS4 announcement yet though.
There was info coming out today about Fable Legends possibly being F2P etc, so we held off on including it for now as we're not for sure yet what it really is, same with Sunset Overdrive.
I'm very excited to learn more about Below. Not a big fan of top down games, but love the art style of it.
Ha uh I wrote the article and this information definitely did not come from anyone inside the company.
I agree. As with last gen though, updates will come to improve things over time as per usual. Surprised at some of the features not available right from the start though, especially the party features on both consoles. With such a focus on playing with friends and online etc, you'd think more focus would have been put there.
I normally don't comment on stuff like this, but it's like seriously?
