Sent in the questions a couple weeks ago, just waiting for them to be returned now. May not have time to write it up like most of our featured interviews, but should provide plenty of information on the game in a QA format if we don't have the time.
Need to play Halo MCC online (connected to XLIVE) between 11/11/14 and 12/19/14 to be eligible.
The IP may be owned by Sony, but it is being developed by an independent studio, which is The Chinese Room. They partnered with Sony, therefore they are not owned by Sony.
No need to be snotty with the rhetoric there.
Developed by The Chinese Room, who is an independent studio. SSM is providing support for it, like they did with many other indie titles.
It's an interesting game for sure.
Man, I just finished Alien: Isolation the other day...not sure I can handle another experience like that so soon lol. Really looking forward to SOMA though so I might have to just buckle my seatbelt and "enjoy" the ride.
Game hasn't been announced for platforms just yet, but most likely coming to PS4.
Well, the development team has been really quiet regarding the game. I think we, and maybe one or two other sites have even talked with them about the game so far. Definitely looks really interesting though!
Nope. If you're part of that program and you sign the NDA then you are under legal obligation to not share what you are working on or testing. They're lucky their Xbox's have gotten shut off and they aren't being charged a hefty fine for that matter. If you sign a contract, then you better keep your word, no other way around it.
Big departure from the UE3 engine. Glad Unreal Engine has finally hit their stride and allows developers to really make whatever the heck they want.
Seems a bit right for a F2P microtransaction ripe game.
Glad it's single player only again. I actually really enjoyed Unity's story for what it was. Hoping for even better with Syndicate.

Hence I said "downgrade" in the sense of the word. If something doesn't look as good as it originally did, then I'd consider that a downgrade. I'm not sure how you don't understand that.
You pretty much restated everything I said in my original post. I definitely understand there are changes made during development, and there's nothing in this post or mine that "spews venom" to make the game look bad. You, and m...
I'd mostly agree with you on your second comment, but I don't think it's really the gaming press's fault. They have a part to play in it, for sure, I'm part of the press so I can attest to that, but developers also have their part to play in not being truthful.
When the game was initially revealed, I'm sure it actually looked like the screenshots, but as the game developed, as others said it needed to be optimized and thus some graphical updates were ...
Got the interview lined up, no exact date for when we'll have answers back yet, but just thought I'd let ya know!
We'll hopefully land an interview with them before the game launches next month. They've revealed very little about the game, which is good, and bad at the same time.
Lol Ghostz,
If you know exactly what Sony does or does not have in development please feel free to share! There'd be a lot of people out of work if Sony's studios weren't developing any games.
Yea, I'm worried about the campaign. Not because of the story, but because of the way 4's campaign played. It wasn't really varied until the end, and it just wasn't as fun for me. Sorry for having an opinion! ;)
Is asking a question a bad thing to do too? Boy, I guess we should just not ask questions anymore then.
Thought the beta was pretty great as well. Definitely played more like classic Halo than 4 ever did. Just hoping they make a lot of new "classic" maps, and they can retain their player counts.
Little more worried about the campaign though, but super intrigued now that they're teasing the deeper lore with characters from First Strike, ODST and Nightfall making appearances.
Doesn't really have anything to do with 343 being shady or anything? Game needs a store page for people to download it and raise awareness, it was just a misunderstanding about the release date.
