And the trailer has been released lol - http://n4g.com/news/1744681...
It's looking really good for how early it is. The developers seem to be doing everything they can to make it authentic. They showed us a new trailer for the game they haven't posted yet, and its got a glimpse of a major battle scene that looks awesome.
This looks much better than I thought it was going to. Interested to see what our writers learn about the game tomorrow when they check it out.
Looking super good!
4Sh0w,
I'm talking about the company that released this teaser, not ALL the teasers from yesterday. The company that put out this teaser put out little trailers for all the games in their upcoming portfolio, if you read the article you'll find a Twitter link to find the rest.
Pretty much. Although they announced a ton of new games yesterday, with similar teasers. Interested to see what they're publishing.
Still hoping for a SP campaign mode out of Siege, but I don't think we're gonna get one.
Army,
They do need time to really push their marketing campaigns for sales. The Witcher 3 probably wouldn't have sold as well had it not had time to generate more and more hype. For established franchises that works well, and I'm not saying The Witcher isn't established, but before now it was in a more niche market, now it's mainstream.
Eh, I'd say a game announced at E3 2015 should arrive no later than Summer 2016. Any game announced before E3, with gameplay shown off at E3, should be available soon after E3.
Call of Duty follows a very appropriate schedule as do EA Sports titles. Obviously those titles aren't on the scale of something like The Witcher 3, but they do their reveals right.
Maybe I wouldn't call it a prequel then, more of a different take on the same story kind of thing then. Follow a new character whose story you don't know about.
That new movie Star Wars: Rouge One comes to mind when I'm thinking about it, you may know the end game, but you don't know everything that happened sort of thing.
I liked that they explored the family aspect of the war in the beginning of the game, felt much more connected than other FPS games. I'd like for them to do a prequel and focus even more on protecting your home life and stuff like that. Plenty of directions the series could go I think.
Hardly know anything about what Sony's got in store, so there's that. Microsoft too.
I'm just hoping they fix the phsyics part of the game a bit more. Never really was a fan of the hit detection either in Demon Souls - Dark Souls 2. Haven't played Bloodborne so don't know if that was improved on much or not. Didn't look like it from the videos.
Otherwise I love the progression of exploring these worlds.
Tell me about it, sucks being the press sometimes haha.
Key word, buzzwords.
Thanks for the compliment on the article! And I don't think all devs are intentionally misleading all the time with their games, I think CD Projekt RED"s interview with Eurogamer was the best explanation anyone has given regarding graphical downgrades from what was originally shown.

Wow, I actually hadn't even noticed that there weren't any pre-order deals...wow lol
Won't be at E3 unfortunately.
And your opinion about the author having an opinion is any better?
The developers said they plan to do exactly that with the helmet.
