Did you get that notification on N4G or on OnlySP? We haven't had any reported problems of malware...
Noooo, has nothing to do with that series haha. This is a medieval RPG focused on realism rather than fantasy.
Summer 2016 for Act 1.
Between all the VR horror games that have been announced and Robinson: The Journey, I'm finally excited for VR. Not looking at it as a gimmick anymore like I did with motion controls.
Thanks for taking the time to read it :)
Two different composers. And the soundtrack outside of the game was really good, just didn't fit all that well with Halo.
@Foxtrot,
Um, each game has taken place on Earth...how different do you really want it to look? Far Cry 3 was tropical, Far Cry 4 was in the Himalayan regions. Far Cry Primal is taking places in a multitude of regions...the base mechanics here are similar, but you know exactly what happens when a game changes too much. People don't like it.
Primal is pretty damn unique if you ask me, even if its core is similar.
I'd imagine if it does well enough, you'll probably see it there.
I'd say this is a little more than just another Blood Dragon. This is a full game and not just a DLC title.
@madforaday
Won't comment on For Honor until I play it.
Yea. I mean, as good as its for extra revenue, it kinda shows Ubisoft's lack of ambition to make new and creative IP instead of cashing in on established series. Black Flag could have easily been a new series in their open world lineup.
I liked Black Flag, but not as an Assassin's Creed game. I would have much preferred if the story were more centered around the main character's life of piracy rather than intertwine it with the Creed.
Technical issues aside, I really enjoyed Unity. Much more than Black Flag.
MGS V is just an example in this particular editorial. There's plenty of other games where this issue comes into play as well.
Not really. Articles that people actually put time into don't get very far on here. Our site is full of feature interviews with developers that never seem to get past 50 deg on here, so take that as you will.
Gatsu,
It does not feel fresh each time when I know that at the end of the mission, I'll have accomplished pretty much exactly what I accomplished at every mission before. It gives me no reason to progress forward, no matter how many different ways I have to tackle a mission.
That's what I pointed out in the editorial. The gameplay variety is good. There's different ways to tackle each objective. That's not the issue.
The issue lies in the fact that each objective is the same for just about every mission so far. Go rescue this dude. Go blow this up. Go assassinate this guy. It's repetitive in the core mission structure, not the way you go about the missions.
This is what I pointed out in my editorial, almost exactly. The game in itself has variety, but the actual objectives you set out to complete are void of variety.
Yup. That is exactly what I expected from the game. /s
Nvm, getting the notification here on N4G too now.
