If it were up to some of you, Sony would turn into Microsoft and only focus on 3 or 4 exclusives? You really want that? I don't understand as a gamer why you wouldn't want a wide variety of great games? We are in this hobby to play games, not worry about these fucking companies profits. We didn't do it as a kid so why do it now?

G4 in it's glory days was so fucking fantastic man. Back then, it was soley for the gamers. Cheat, Cinematech, Arena, Icons, Judgment Day, etc were fucking great. Cinematech introduced me to a lot of games I didn't even know existed. X-Play was actually good during these days as well. Way better than they're now.
The channel had a huge impact on me growing up during the PS2 gen. Those were some great times.
Nothing wrong with HD graphics. Just make sure the gameplay is good.

I'm not liking this new direction of gaming if this is true. Maybe I'm too much of a traditional gamer but playing games on a tablet doesn't excite me. Just give me a normal controller and I'm fine. Gaming is going into a really strange place.

Honestly, I'll just wait and see. I'm not super excited about next gen. Seeing certain companies declining in quality or shutting down all together makes me think more will follow suit next gen. I'm also not into the gimmicks that will most likely be seen in the future years. I should be excited about new consoles but I'm just not.

Who said western developers aren't doing wrong? I sure didn't. My problem is that Japan's "big hitters" are getting progressively worse while their overall influence over gaming is going down. It's not a good combination.
Infamous 2 came out last year. It wouldn't make any sense to reveal 3 this early.
