Or the PS3 250GB, 120GB, 300GB, you know, any sata 2.5" HDD. The media center is just that, a media center first and console 2nd. Aren't people always saying PS3 is a Blu-Ray player first. Well this unit is not like the Elite, it is aimed for the die hard movie buffs, not gamers, it's barely a console. That's why it's priced up there in the grands.
You mean the 80GB SKU that is going to be released only in Korea. I heard it was going to be the new standard for their launch, a minor upgrade and hardly a new console. I also heard that they're not going to make you pay extra for the 20gigs, it's just going to be standard.
For Sony, it would be a negative. But since Kojima Productions is optimizing it for one console, PS3, it doesn't really bother me if it goes to the 360, as long as their original vision for the game is captured without a lowest common denominator mentality. That is what an exclusive is.

But most people don't even know it has a power brick. I'm willing to bet that if someone wants a compelling game, they won't let something like a power-brick get in the way. In Japan, the situation is that the 360 doesn't have brand recognition or many games that appeal to their flavor of games.

Like the poster above me said, it has just begun. All we can do is speculate, and right now we're judging PS3's interest with 2 compelling exclusives and a high price tag. Besides brand name and high reliability, I'll admit that there hasn't been much to spark its interest. *This is when I list things that might spark PS3's interest*

I'm not really poor, and I'm certainly not suffering. I just can't afford a $5000 dollar tv, that's all. I got my 19" as a gift so I thought it would be rude to upgrade to a bigger size, but I'm looking for a 32" Samsung for the summer.
The scope in this game is pretty impressive, it is a must-buy for me I can't wait to start blowing fireballs. I wish I wasn't poor so I could afford a 60" 1080p to view it in full HD. My 19" 720p will do for now.

Ignoring the horrible video quality and based off of the screens and teaser trailers, I think the game will look impressive visually, and I think they have a good story line going too. I can't tell how deep the gameplay is going to be, but 4-player campaign is pretty cool. This might be a sleeper.
