This game will be just behind Halo 3 and Gears of War 2 in the shooters genre for all consoles, so it will be well worth getting the collector's edition imo.
We all understand your frustration of having no GT5 news. Don't take it out on the new champ of racers though, because you only have Sony, Polyphony and yourself to blame for that. Afterall, didn't you buy into that Prologue nonsense and justify or even glorify every delay in GT development?

Yes, and potential also depends on things like budget and timelines. I mean if you are given huge amounts of funds for game development and also all the time in the world, then you should be in a better position to push out an all around better game. Of course there are really talented developers who can push out quality games with lower budgets and tighter timelines, but hey, imagine what they could do with more money and time!
I think they forgot Sixaxis incorporated motion control that was allegedly better than the Wiimote and see where that got them.

I'm not sure that it is even 1% of the fanbase (meaning people who play the game) 'cos 30,000 sounds conspicuously like just about the number of rabid Sony fanboys who visit N4G.
My fear is that there are terrible slowdowns to the music during load times. But it is just the PS3 demo, so things might be improved in the final version.
I'm really excited about Uncharted 2 which I think is going to succeed Uncharted as the best exclusive on the PS3. This game is gonna be a 8.8 at least.
You should try Prototype. You'll enjoy it more.

You may be right. GT5 was first delayed when Polyphony saw what Forza 2 achieved. Now they've seen Forza 3, you can imagine it is back to the drawing board again for GT5.
Why would there be a compromise? One would have mandatory installs, one would require disc switching, that's all. Everything else will be about the same.
Somebody here is obviously praying hard against the odds that somehow, the 360 version will be vastly inferior to the PS3 version even though the empirical evidence is that 360 versions of games are often the superior version.
Gotta wonder who the real desperate idiot moron mother of stupidity really is...
They should review the PS3 version too since this game was developed for PS3 first.
