Naturally a top 5 list will pale in comparison to a top 10 list.
I just hope PSN connectivity problems don't take too much fun away from this game which is the only title I've been looking forward to for my PS3 all year.
Um this thing is supposed to compete with Forza 3? I think Polyphony will be lucky to outdo Forza 2 as a racing simulator.
Like I said, no one read the article. They use their fanciful imagination to concoct other people's hands-on impressions.
Seems like no one read the article. Let me sum it up. Graphics - same as prologue. Damage - disappointing.
What a ridiculous article.
80% of PS3 owners also own a 360, and for those 80%, many actually chose Prototype over Infamous, but of course they would have bought the 360 version. Hence those sales would not have been reflected as sales of the PS3 version albeit bought by PS3 owners.
What I'm surprised at is that there are even sales of the PS3 version of Prototype. This means that even for those minority who only own a PS3 (obviously hardcore fanboys), a substantia...
The scrotum comment was entirely appropriate imo. Crude, but appropriate.
How else better to describe a bunch of hypocrites who slammed Natal as a gimmick and then celebrate the Sony's desperate attempts to mimic Natal?
Lol! So much fear! I'd be insecure too if I'm a droid. It is obvious GT5 is going to have to be delayed again to compete against Forza 3.
What about sales? GT4 already had a massively huge following due to historical success of the franchise, Forza 1 when it came out was the new kid on the block. What else is there to compare in terms of sales - GT5p v Forza 2?
We've all seen the gameplay on GT5p, and it isn't very impressive graphically or physics-wise. And despite all the waiting, we still haven't seen anything substantial on GT5. But GT5p being a prologue means that GT5 is not going to be very far ahead of GTp. Which means GT5 will, in the best case scenario, be a little bit impressive. As opposed to Forza 3's OMFG-that's-the-most-awesome-r acing-sim-I've-seen impressive.
Good to see so many Sony slaves fear anything Forza, as they rightly should. Poor Polyphony must be sh!tting in their panties with all this pressure and expectation on them to outdo Turn 10, a feat they know they just can't do.
I bought and played the game (Japanese version) hoping that it would offer some realistic adventure out in nature. What I experienced was a big barren boring land with a few small locations where a limited wildlife go about doing a limited variety of actions such as giraffes and zebras strolling around, going to the water for a drink, and reacting to you when you come too close. You don't get to see predators chasing prey randomly - these events you see only as a one-off sequence when you p...
GT5?? Forget it, GT is a child's game. Forza is for the real enthusiasts.
I hope they have the JDM Honda Civic Type R this time instead of the horrid Euro version.
For me, Forza 3 is right on top followed by Splinter Cell Conviction, Uncharted 2, then God of War 3.
I don't think I'm wrong to say that the focus of MGS4 was in the cinematic experience above everything else. Frankly, most of what I remember of MGS4 now are the very long cinematics which greatly overshadowed the gameplay that just didn't feel progressive or realistic. Some people appreciate that aspect of the game and call it a masterpiece, but I personally think cinematics is best left to the JRPGs because in a stealth game, I want to experience the stealth aspect, like how I enjoyed Dou...
I like how they're pushing the level of sophistication in the stealth gameplay mechanics to make for a more immersive and more realistic experience. This is how the genre should advance as a game, not hours upon hours of self-indulgent cinematics telling a convoluted mess of a story that only a handful of people feel passionate about. Really looking forward to this game which will undoubtedly be fantastic.
360 has more games, more variety of games, better games on each genre and better multiplatform games. That one MGS4, LBP or KZ2 which is answered by an MS exclusive doesn't make a big difference in the larger scheme of gaming. Yes Sony is improving, but that doesn't mean they're on the way to the top.
Don't blame you. Not being able to play the game on your console can be a boring experience.
Ninja Gaiden without Itagaki, that's just wrong, hope its a PS3 exclusive.
