Really? Like what might a PS3 owner be waiting for in the next 2 months that's making her hold back from buying KZ2? This year, I've already gotten Star Ocean 4, RE5, Halo wars, Race Pro, Lost & Damned on 360 (getting Fallout 3 DLC soon). I've not gotten anything for my PS3 yet because KZ2 demo didn't do anything for me. Waiting for Uncharted 2, which is coming out when?
If they could not do it by now, PS3 has no hope of surpassing 360. Unless at the end of the 10 years cycle.
Actually, I absolutely detest that Lymle character. I cringe and curse everytime single time she opens her mouth and says "'kay". That fool alone makes playing the game unbearable in my opinion. Apart from that fool, the other characters are pretty much from your standard JRPG moulds, which means none too interesting. Storyline and dialogue are pretty standard too, with the same implication. Yep, I have more to say about the unsophisticated gameplay mechanics in MGS4 than those found in RE5. But at least RE5 isn't a self-indulgent, pretentious production that lost sight of the fact that it is a game. Kojima is the most overrated game developer ever imho.
Y'know, there was absolutely nothing in the demo (which I played 3 times over and got sick of) that suggests the game to be a standout, so I can't understand the fools here who were crying out stuff like "Yeah, back to my 150th replay of the demo!!". Judging by the sales figures, I guess I wasn't alone in my appraisal of the game based on the demo.

Very astute observation! Another reason might be that it came much too late into the party. For me, I bought Resistance 2 hoping it'll live up to the media's hype but it ended up being Halo's lesser cousin, so bearing that disappointment in mind plus trying out KZ2 demo, I decided it just wasn't gonna be better than Gears 2 or COD4 so I didn't buy into the hype.
I downloaded all the gameplay trailers and I just can't see how this game is going to be more enjoyable than Crackdown.
Bah judging by MGS4, there's not much in terms of quality to sacrifice anyway.
The only quality I saw in MGS4 was the visual cinematics. And even that required long hdd installation.
As usual, the PS3 brigade rely on siege mentality to deny the simple axiomatic truth that the same game for game, 360 > PS3 graphically.
