@Jinger
I'm just saying if you have a 1080p TV and already have an Xbox One, the X1X is NOT worth the 500.00 investment.
Oh, and for the record, neither is the PS4 Pro at 400.00 if you already have a PS4. Those are both steep investments just to eek out better textures and lighting on a 1080p display. Now had these mid gen consoles affected REAL change like turning 30fps games to 60fps, you'd have something. As it stands, these are still curren...
They are, but if you think that is 500.00 better you are off your effing rocker.
When you are presenting on stage, the last thing you want is your presentation to be wordy. That gets boring very fast. There's an old adage in movie making that goes "don't tell me, show me." That same idea should be applied to the press conferences and Sony has it darn near perfected.
Only thing that concerns me is the kid and his dialogue. He could get annoying really fast if the game is chock full of his one liners.
Only because they showed mostly what we already knew about....which was a lot. That doesn't change the fact that Sony is absolutely embarrassing the competition when it comes to both quality and quantity of content that's available and is GOING to be available in 2018.
Probably the same journalists who said that phones/tablets were killing the console industry.

X1X won't even win November NPD. Book it!
The game is too shallow. I also don't like the "runner" mechanic. I'd rather it be more like a traditional Mario game. Like others are saying, while touch controls aren't ideal, I'd rather "deal" with that than have a Mario game that moves Mario for me.
I'd still rank Nintendo's developers ahead of Sony's minus Naughty Dog, but your point is well taken. If you are into narrative heavy, character-driven games then PlayStation IS the place to play.
Nice! Now come on Sony! Give us that Driveclub Pro update! It's the only one left that I'm waiting on!
@343
There's a reason why MS is losing, and quite convincingly I might add. Of course lack of exclusives isn't going to much of a subject of contention in an echo chamber of Xbox supporters. Where it's a point of contention is with all the former 360 owners who jumped ship over to PS4.
Most of these seem kind of obvious. Im sure most, if not all of these will wind up on Switch at some point.
Jesus Christ, folks this is a HANDHELD that can dock to your TV. Please show me another gaming handheld on the market today that is as capable as the Switch. There isn't one! Stop trying to compare a handheld to true home consoles. This is as absurd as trying to compare the PS3/360 to the 3DS.
So what you're saying is the Switch isn't for you. Got it, thanks!
Won't EVERY game coming out have X1X enhancements? Why is this even news at this point?
Yeah, either a port of Smash Bros Wii U (with the "Deluxe" treatment ala Mario Kart 8) or Nintendo is gearing up for GameCube virtual console support.
If you have a 1080p TV AND already own an Xbox One or Xbox One S and you don't plan on upgrading to 4K anytime soon, then I'd say no it's not worth it. .
If you have a 4K TV and own an Xbox One standard, then I'd say yes upgrade to X1X. If you have an Xbox One S, I'd say no. You're already benefiting from HDR and 4K movie playback with the S.
If you have a 4K TV and do not already own an Xbox One of any kind, I'd say defi...
LMAO! I'd say PS4 has had two "major" updates since launch. All others have been stability updates.
Add NCAA teams and I'll buy two!
