I think my one and only nitpick with Mario Kart is the omission of some characters and the inclusion of others. Like, why leave out Pikachu, Kirby, Samus, Zelda, Diddy Kong, and Alph (Pikmin), yet they include odd choices like Shy Guy, Larry, Ludwig, and multiple variations of Mario and Peach?
Also I'd love to see Nintendo start doing some cross licensing of other characters like they do in Smash Brothers. I'd love to see Sonic in Mario Kart along with a Green Hill Zone...
I wish Nintendo would just go ahead and outright acquire the rights to Sonic. They would absolutely make it a better franchise.

LOL yeah well, nobody's perfect but Nintendo is about as close as it gets, especially in this day and age of companies shipping games broken/incomplete. I am greatly appreciative of Nintendo's quality control and I wish more developers would aspire to be more like Nintendo in this area.

As far as I'm concerned, Nintendo is still the gold standard when it comes to quality. Their video games are always entertaining and well-designed. Plus they're ALWAYS glitch free and work as intended when they release them, unlike many other video games that are released in the wild these days.

Different people within the company work on different aspects of the game. The team working on DLC doesn't hinder the team working on fixing the issues with the game.

The X1 is a multimedia box that happens to play games. The PS4 is a gaming console that happens to do multimedia. Believe it or not there IS a difference. I prefer to support the games machine.
I somewhat agree with you in terms of multimedia. The X1 is ahead of the PS4 in that category. However the UI feels way more clunky on the X1 than it does the PS4. The PS4's cross media bar UI is very snappy and fast. It's much easier to navigate IMO than the X1 tile system.
