You're full of shit.
Here here. I can't understand how the sentiment towards PS4 turned so sour on this board so quickly. The system is the tits and it's only going to get better and better.
I cannot get my PS4 to recognize the update file on my USB drive when choosing option #7 (Initialize PS4 Reinstall System Software). It just keeps saying "The update file cannot be used. Please install a USB storage device that contains an update file for reinstallation for version 2.00 or later."
However if choose option #3 (Update System Software) and then choose "Update Software from USB Storage Device" my PS4 recognizes it and attempts to update. ...
I swear, so many gamers have such an "all or nothing" mentality. Games either "suck ass" or they're "the greatest thing ever." A firmware update has a non hardware-threatening bug that's completely avoidable and suddenly it's a "complete disaster." I swear some people shouldn't be allowed to have a keyboard.
About what I expected. Annualized "McGaming" continues.
I don't know why you're getting disagrees because you are 100 percent right about that! PSN IS behind Live, at least in terms of stability.
Funny, I have Driveclub and I'm having a blast with it.
It's because like Madden, it has become an annualized franchise where each iteration brings very little new or exciting to the franchise. Yet the mindless automatons lap it up year after year after year with absolutely no thought of whether or not it's actually worth supporting. There's SO much more to gaming than just "point and shoot."
Call of Duty; Gaming for the ADD generation.
Tomb Raider PS4 60fps. Tomb Raider X1 30fps.
When it's working like it's supposed to, yes Driveclub is a lot of fun. However "amazing" is a word I'd reserve for games like The Last of Us. Once online is completely fixed and dynamic weather, photo mode, replay mode, etc are added then MAYBE it can be considered amazing.
LOL! I own both consoles thank you very much. I am anxiously awaiting Halo Master Chief Collection and Quantum Break. And yes I DO praise Driveclub because it's a blast to play. However this game, the whole concept IMO just looks retarded. "Oooh look at me! I'm ultra hipster guy with the jacked up haircut grinding on rails while I fight enemies with the most idiotic weapons ever devised."
Agreed 100%. I firmly believe the vast majority of haters on here mouthing about how awful Driveclub is haven't even played it or own it. The game is a freaking blast and graphically, it simply has no equal in the racing genre! There are moments where the game looks like live action. Plus the online is slowly but surely getting better almost daily. The game's not perfect but it's damn fun to play.
The game IS good. Don't listen to the reviewers.
Game looks stupid as hell IMO.
Design >>> pure horse power.
"Hope they learn from this bungled mess and improve this game before all gamer interest has faded."
I hear this a lot but I don't understand it. There ARE no other racing options on PS4. If anyone is remotely a fan of racing and they have a PS4 they're not going to lose interest. The game is getting better everyday.
Quick question, of all the people mouthing on this board about Driveclub, how many of you have actually played it? I own it and I'm here to tell you , the game is a blast! The online multiplayer is getting constantly berated, all the while it's getting better and better. I was on until late last night playing online and again this morning. Aside from a couple of disconnects while trying to log into the server, Everything went silky smooth. The frustration at launch was understand...
Exactly. People who complain about PS4's lack of updates tend to forget how bare bones the PS3 was when it first came out.
Jesus Christ WTF is with all these PS4 bashing articles lately? Now the DS4 sucks too? Good god! I have both the PS4 and the X1 and without question I prefer the DS4. It feels way more comfortable in my hands! My only nitpicks witht he DS4 are 1.) The battery life and 2.) Not enough games take advantage of the DS4's unique features like the glide pad and the controller speaker.
