I agree. The game is decent, but it's not great or even very good. Same way I felt about Alan Wake. Remedy is overrated.
Geez, 6 months into 2016 and Xbox has had exactly one big release and it wasn't even all that good. It's a good thing MS has Killer Instinct and Forza. Otherwise their in house IP offerings this gen have flat out sucked. Even Halo 5 disappointed me. Personally I only use mine for Netflix, Killer Instinct, and Forza 6.
Looks good. Polyphony does lighting quite like no one else! I can't put my finger on it but it's so subtle, yet so beautiful at the same time.
I said that, assuming Neo will launch next year in 2017. That's why I said wait an extra year and release in 2018.

I'd say it has more to do with focusing on launching PSVR this year. Trying to launch both VR and a new console in the same year would be pretty daunting. However you may be right. Sony very well might be revising the Neo's specs to match what MS is rumored to be doing.

It shouldn't be. But it does need to be the end of shoddy programming and lack of ambition. That's what Star Fox Zero suffered from, not the IP itself.

I bought it and I'm thoroughly enjoying it ! The game is flat out gorgeous too. It's definitely worth it IMO, especially on PS4 since we're all still waiting for Gran Turismo.
And that's the biggest problem with gaming these days. More and more we're seeing developers focus on narrative and less on actual gameplay. Games like Gone Home, Everybody's Gone To The Rapture, Beyond Two Souls, Heavy Rain, Fire Watch, the Tell Tale games, etc aren't GAMING. They're like mini movies that you control.
I have to agree. It's a freaking walking simulator. That isn't gaming! I'm tired of these developers making these "interactive stories" with such minimal gameplay mechanics.

An out of left field pick but I would lose my mind if Sony announced an HD re master of Mod Nation Racers! That was hands down a kick ass kart racer that had great customization and online play! I'd give anything to have a re master of the PS3 game or a sequel!
After last year's E3 with them showing Final Fantasy 7, The Last Guardian, and Shenmue 3, I honestly don't know what they could show this year that would make fans lose their minds. Crash MABYE but I don't see that as being a reality. They could tease The Last of Us 2 but that's all it would be. What exactly could they show that would make people lose their shit?
