The market spoke and it didn't want Vita. End of story! Sony tried very hard in the beginning to support this platform with some really good games and nobody bought them. Yet still the handheld has managed to stick around for 5 years and has seen a lot of great indie support the last couple of years. You can't fault Sony for not wanting to devote time and resources to a dying platform.
The biggest mistake Sony made was with the ridiculously overpriced proprieta...
Yeah, they're essentially moving the goalposts in terms of how success is measured with the console war so as to not appear to be defeated. The whole "oh we're breaking down generations" and "Xbox/PC is all one platform bullshit is just a way of trying to avoid the console war altogether.
@jcnba27
"Sony seem to be obsessed with 3 person games."
Isn't that what this game is too? LOL!!
SURELY that's a mistranslation. I'd be pissed if at the very least the NX version didn't have smooth 60fp, higher color fidelity, better textures, and full 1080p resolution.
It's like if Wind Waker and Twilight Princess had a baby.
Wow, Nintendo fanboy picks Zelda as his #1 game at E3. Surprise surprise.
I get that but every video seems to spend a ton of time on it as if they intend it to be some major incentive to purchase. I'm just curious if a photo mode carries THAT much influence in a gamers buying decision.
Honestly, rather than better graphics I want to see better functionality.
As a PS4 owner, I'm thrilled with the PS4's gaming output. I have no complaints. However Sony could learn a thing or two from MS when it comes to features. Like, why don't we have external hard drive support? Why can't we be allowed to change our usernames? Why don't we have the extensive network app selection X1 has? Why don't we have a video chat option? Why don'...
LMAO at the disagree! That is LITERALLY how long away the console is unless MS delays it.
You're trying way too hard.
Maybe I'm just out of touch as a gamer but, do THAT many people really care about photo mode? It just seems like all these GT Sport videos put a lot of time into showing that aspect of the game and personally I couldn't give a rats ass. I just want to race. The photo mode is nice and all but, who buys a game to take pictures?
Better specs have never enticed me to jump to PC before and it's not going to now. I'm a console gamer through and through and I like the Playstation platform. Nothing will change that for me as long as Sony keeps making consoles.
"And a lot of their games are further off into the future than Xbox's new console"
WRONG! Those "near future" games that you speak of at MS' conference are playing catch up to all the games that have already released on PS4 in 2016 and PS4 owners have been enjoying for quite a while now. Sony releases their titles throughout the entire calendar year instead of hording them until the last quarter like MS does. Therefore Sony can show more games...
Preach!
A year and a half in advance.
I don't own an Xbox or a gaming PC.
Sony won hands down!
This is how badly Sony won, Sony won BEFORE they brought out Kojima, showed Spiderman, and closed with the Days Gone gameplay. At that point it just wasn't even fair anymore.
And I want another Mod Nation Racers. Chances of us getting either one though are less that zero! :-(
Am I the only one who had to look up the word "bifurcate" in the dictionary?
It was obvious to everyone who wasn't a MS fan boy.
