I THINK they said the version at the GT event was a 50% build. That doesn't necessarily mean it's only 50% complete at this time.
But this doesn't even look as good as Forza 6 or Project Cars either. Two games that DO run at 60fps
It doesn't even look as good as Project Cars though. It looks like GT6 HD Re mastered.
Forza 6 wasn't broken
Then why aren't they emphasizing VR at this event? Based on the time I watched it yesterday, they didn't once mention it. Why aren't the drivers wearing PSVR head gear when they race? That is a BS cop out and you know it! Some of you are just doing whatever you can to rationalize and justify this horsecrap! Just face it, Polyphony Digital has rested on it's laurels and allowed themselves to fall woefully behind when it comes to videogame racing. Other titles have su...
Uh, yes it does! PC has it's issues but graphics aren't one of them. PC LOOKS like a next gen racing game. GT Sport looks like Polyphony took GT6 and ported it to PS4.
Someone on another forum made a great point. They said....
"GT Sport represents yet another example where Japanese development studios are woefully behind Western and Euro development studios in the area of HD game development."
It really does seem like ever since the transition from SD to HD, Japanese studios have struggled with their game development compared to Western and Euro developers. It's an interesting dilemma and I just wonder what the d...
It's because Polyphony takes too damn long. This would've been great as aPS4 launch title. However since the release of GT6 on PS3,Project Cars, Assetto Corsa, Driveclub, and Forza 6 have come along and raised the bar in so many different aspects of videogame racing. As it stands GT is now looking dated because Polyphony seemingly refuses to be aware of it's competition and suffers from ridiculously long dev times with no evidence of real dividend from taking that extra time. ...
I hope I'm wrong, but it looks to me based on the trailer we'll only be able to manipulate pre existing graphics within the game. I don't see anything that allows you to import graphics of your own.
Wish I could see what you're seeing. I'm the biggest Playstation homer you'll find (just look at my post history) but this is completely underwhelming. It basically looks like GT6 HD Re mastered with less content. Driveclub's graphics spoiled me I guess, but to my eyes this doesn't even look as good as Project Cars.
Lol jealous of what?
Truth!
What it tells me is the X1 community is starved to play a good game.
Agreed. I love everything about this except the choppiness in both framerate and animations. Square should've used mocap.
5.) UC Golden Abyss
4.) UC1
3.) Uncharted 3
2.) Uncharted 2
1.) Uncharted 4
Yeah, TOTALLY didn't work for Ratchet and Clank did it? /sarcasm.
What do you guys think Sony's "drop the mic" moment (s) will be? I'm predicting ...
A.) No Man's Sky for PSVR announced.
B.) God of War 4 trailer.
C.) New Crash Bandicoot announced
Which is code for "show us you can move units and we'll put our games on it. The wording is not a good sign.
Well deserved! R&C is one of the best games I've played this generation so far.
To add to this, developers also need to be specific as to which VERSION of their game they're showing off. For example, if they're running a trailer off of a high end PC with dual Titans, they need to tell us that. Don't show us something at a PS4 or Xbox One conference, insinuating that's the version we're looking at, only to find out it was running on some roided out mega gaming rig.
