Uh, Red Dead is a 3rd party title. Why does Sony's conference get blamed for it not being there?
FF7 will most certainly be at TGS. Shenmue 3 probably just isn't ready yet.
Jesus who cares?? It's like console gamers are becoming more and more like pc gamers with their obsession with this kind of shit. All I care about is if it's good. If it's fun. If it's a memorable experience. Not what freaking frame rate and resolution it runs at.
More like they pulled their dick out and smacked MS in the mouth with the bald-headed champion!
LOL! You're adorable!
Not as impressed as I had hoped to be. The world feels empty and the frame rate was choppy. I have to wonder if this game is pushing the Wii U about as far as it can go. I hope the NX version sees major upgrades.
Sony
I like the art style but if I'm being honest, I thought the world looked a little sparse. Oh well, maybe the NX version will have more.
@coreyweb
You're nuts! Exclusives are what DEFINES a console. Otherwise, what's the point? You might as well go build a PC. Oh wait, I guess the Xbox IS a PC now.
I'm not saying those 3 MS games aren't good. However would it kill them to diversify their gaming portfolio just a little? They are so damn "dude bro" in their whole gaming approach. Basically it's racing and action/shooting. Their in-house teams have not deve...
So basically Halo, Gears, and Forza trumps all for you? Man MS pulled off one hell of a magic trick to gain a loyal fan base based on 3 IP's.
MS' problem for me is the same today as it was 5 years ago, and it's not hardware power. It's they have a 1st party problem. Their game portfolio just isn't as diverse as Sony's (or as good IMO). They lean too heavily on their 3 "pillars" of Forza, Halo, and Gears. Last year their big 3 holiday t...
@81BX
The reason Sony can show games further on the horizon is because they choose to spread their games out throughout the calendar year rather than hording them until the last 4 months of the year. All those 2016 titles announced by MS at their conference is basically their "catch up" titles to what PS4 players have been enjoying throughout the year already. So while you may think having GT Sport, No Mans Sky, The Last Guardian, Dragon Quest Builders, Star Ocea...
For those of you saying "at least MS showed us games we'll be playing in the near future" you dont get it at all. Those "near future"games are playing catch up to what PS4 owners have already been enjoying throughout 2016. The reason Sony can show games further on the horizon is because they choose to spread their games out throughout the calendar year rather than hording them until the last 4 months of the year. So while you may think having GT Sport, No Mans Sky, ...
Nope you're not.
Let's just call this what it is. MS knows they've lost this generation and their only option is to "etch a sketch" it early and start over. However they have to frame it in such a way where it doesn't look like they're shouting "uncle." The only way to do this is to say things like "oh we're doing away with generations" and talk about forward and backwards compatibility, play anywhere, Windows/Xbox merging, etc. It's all smoke and mirrors ...
I'm not crazy about the premise. "A boy and his mech?" Please! I wasn't expecting your character and his equipment to have a friendship.
They're calling this one the "Xbox Normal" :-D
Listen to the quote. "MIGHTbe ONE of"
He literally said nothing
Wtf is that on the left??
40% smaller than the original model.
They're calling it the Xbox Normal.
The guy on the left sounds like Ray Romano, the guy on the right sounds like "Randall" from the movie Clerks LOL!!
That's because Sony doesn't need to counter. The PS4 is still a viable console and the only reason MS is introducing Project Scorpio now is because they've lost. They're re setting the chess board early because they know this generation is un winnable.
