Rayman is a kebab to Mario' steak. Sure, a kebab looks great and tastes delicious, but the meat inside is just not the same quality of a good steak. Eating too much of one or the other gets boring so it's great that we get a choice as to what we devour. Now I'm waiting to see if Sonic is going to finally become a tasty pizza and not like the Dominos garbage that it's been serving recently.
Sorry, I've been fasting for an operation and I'm bloody starvi...
That's great. Three more people will get frustrated trying to use their phone before giving up on it. I can't wait to see someone on the train waving their arms at the phone and jumping up and down.
@abriael
What you're arguing against is in fact exclusives. By your logic, The Last of Us should be on the Xbox and Halo on the PS3. Both would have sold far more and been more profitable for their developers. .
Developer and publisher business models and objectives are more diverse than simply pure sales. Sure, large sales are important, but there are other concerns, such as positioning, access and branding. Yes, the currently small wii u instal base mea...
Great choice. The Last of Us is a masterpiece. Although I don't have a money tree, I am fortunate to own both games and either would have been a good choice.
Good luck in finding the wallet-of-neverending-money. I swapped a donkey for some magic beans, but the Missus got angry at me and threw them out the window.
Who cares what sells where? It's a great game on all systems and it's nice to sees wii u title in the top 20 for a change.
To all the negative posters, what would you have been posting if the Wii u version sold less? "What's this, a positive article about the wii u, I can't have that!" Rant, rant nintendrones, rant, rant, boorrrrinng!
Fair enough. But I would never say never.
Oh, I thought he was serious.
Okay gentlemen. Carefully lower your weapons and don't make any sudden moves and we may all get out of here alive.
Oh great, another lazy numbered list of reasons/missing features/lazy journalism/yawn.
No
I think he's referring to the fact that 'next-gen' will become 'current-gen' and 'current-gen' becomes 'last-gen'.
I will then count the years, no months, I mean weeks, bugger it days, before a 'next-next-gen' article appears on N4G. You know the one 'Sony already planning PS4 replacement'.... Followed with the '7 reasons why Microsoft are making a new Xbox'. Hakuna Matata, it's the circle of strife.
You have to wonder about the trolling little twit that disagreed with this one. You're a moronic fanboy and I pity you.
Well that's the only way I would be able to play it given my disc won't work in it. That also goes for every other game including the recently enhanced HD of Halo. No doubt a Xbone version will be made, along with Halo 2, 3, Reach, 4...
Okay, I can't put my copy GC of Windwaker in the wii u (I can with TP and SS), so an enhanced HD version is near the top of my list of things to buy.
Only train spotters would argue on something as trivial and mundane as whether it is a remake or a port. Seriously! That's how low you'll go to make your "Nintendo is dooned/dumb..,blah, blah,blah" posts? Wow, get a life or grow up or whatever you need to become a normal functioning part of society.
It's a great game made even better and anyone saying otherwise probably has never played the original.
Damn you late adopters! Why can't us early adopters join in the fun too. Come on Nintendo, how about a Zelda inspired gamepad skin for the faithful? Failing that I hope 3rd party accessories makers are listening and fill in the gap.
Given how many copies of the game is available on eBay, I would argue that it is readily available, just as copies of the Sony games are as well. Windwaker is not a collectible game (yet) and supply of the game is greater than demand. The price reflects the quality and value players have for the game. As such, the remake cost does as well.
Check out the price of a GameCube Windwaker on eBay and then tell me a $60 remastered HD version is expensive in comparison. Those old Sony games are all cheap to start with and at $30 for a HD version you're doubling the price. The Windwaker HD is only a little bit dearer than the original.
Let's just say that you wouldn't want to use his joystick afterwards.
@ LOL_WUT
If I remember correctly, you said you downloaded the demo for Wonderful 101 and it confirmed your prior belief that wasn't that good. Therefore the demo restriction had no impact on whether or not you would buy the game.
@3-4-5
I would have let you buy mine if the price was right.
Offer enough and I'll chuck in Rogue Squadron, Monkey Ball, Luigi's Mansion, Mario Sunshine/Double Dash, Wave Race, etc.
