Well, most video game writers are male, and males know how to write better Males than they do females. Not to mention the moment we get a female main character guys love playing, we will then see big shot therapists or other such people try to explain why men like playing as her and will probably say something like "Because, all men want to actually be a woman." or some crap like that.
