Well...if i remember correctly (and please correct me if i'm wrong) Geoholtz had the PS3 code thing for a long time, it wasn't until Sony filed a lawsuit against him that he released it to the public. Not to mention they looked up info on people who basically had nothing to do the the PS3 hacking by Geo, they just knew him.
